Kenya, for the first time, has made history by selecting a female Martha Koome to become its new Chief Justice. Time for closing the gender gap is slowly creeping in. In the neighbouring Tanzania, recently a female became president after the death of its former president Dr John Pombe Magufuli. As well, the deputy speak in Tanzania is a female.
