Legendary English archer-cum-swordsman, Robin Hood and his merry men stole the show in Nottinghamshire before getting global notoriety. No literature tells exactly when Hood or Hudgin in Germany was born. What is clear is that Hood was a good man who aspired to form an egalitarian society based on justice and respect. Ironically, he wanted this to be achieved through crime. An outlaw as he then was, Hood was renowned for robbing British plutocrats and offering his loots to the needy and paupers. He did a good thing in bad way just like those who do bad things in a good way. Hood wore his heart on his sleeve when it comes to what he used to do.
Hood didn't’t hide his true colour. By the way, Hood was a bibber like us. He loved kanywaji and justice. He hated corruption, greed and hypocrisy. This is why he didn't dispute the fact that he was a robber. Again, he was a good robber who shared the loots with paupers. He risked to be jailed even killed for the sake of unprivileged. This is totally different from what we experience in the modern world whereby a cabal of people uses their power to rob those who voted for them. I like to call such venal creatures Hooded Robbers. Our robbers, don’t admit their being robbers. So too, they don’t share their loots with the paupers. Instead, they just rob the paupers and stash money in the offshore-banks.
Whether Hood’s name came from the hood, he is likely to have been used to disguise himself or not, I won’t concentrate on that. Instead, I’ll concentrate on the modern hood of power and political positions our Hooded Robbers use to destroy our lives. What’s more, our greedy beings can be called economic hoons. They always drive at high and suicidal speed when they sense that there is money to be robbed. They don’t drive on the road you know. Nay! They drive in politics so that they can be entrusted the offices to rob.
Robin Hood is a satire to our modern-time Hooded Robbers. Don’t tell me that you don’t know them. You know them. Maybe you’re one of them if not them. To get it, try to ask yourself how many fat thugs in power you know? Of course, you know countless. Don’t start saying hootis! You know what I mean. Don’t ask me where they live. So too, you know where they live. Don’t ask me where they stash their loots. You as well know that it is either in Swiss Banks or somewhere else from Jersey Island to the Island of Man, Cayman you name it. Call them hounds especially for those who invest in robbing us under many good names such as development partners, investors, shakers and movers. If anything, ours are but rabid dogs that need to be hanged whenever seen or discovered.
In case you've not gotten it, if you want to have a clear look into our Hooded Robbers, I’ll give you some qualities they posses as opposed to Robin Hood. Robin Hood hard a lion heart. They have rat heart so faint and dubious that they rob even unborn creatures. They sell everybody sometimes including themselves. They are more of psychopaths than normal human beings you've ever known. We need to decloth them in every manner. How can we stop declothing them if at all they don’t measure up to what they preach? They preach water and drink wine-super hypocrisy. People must be tired of hoo-ha offered by con men and women they think are their emancipators while they actually are their tormentors and prosecutors. They’d make them to pay whenever they rob them. There must araise modern Robin Hood in politics, human rights, administration and what not. When these Robin Hood serve boozers must not expect to be recompensed when they take the role of emancipating the boozers.
While Robin Hood did not feel guilty of what he was doing due to his good intentions, our Hooded Robbers feel no guilty for their dirty deeds. They don’t just because they’re strong at heart. Nay! They are faint hearted and blind to the extent that they can’t think beyond their noses. They are bêtes noix who use their stomachs to think instead of heads. Again, they still try to show their cockiness while they actually are sitting ducks if not lame duck who knows corruption in the place of accountability and delivery.
