Mzee Pinder, hold your shibboleths

When Big Minister Mizengwe Pinder ‘courageously’ encouraged cops to keep on brutalized boozers, many were saddened, sickened and shocked beyond explanation. They said that he did so pointlessly and unreasonably.  Again, this is not our take on mzee Pinder. We’re reporting what boozers thought of him. Some interrogated his way of doing things. Others were baffled by his snap judgment.
Those of us who studied heuristics, the science of experience-based techniques for problem solving; we’d an answer already. In what we call anchoring or getting used to what one is used to, we tend to judge things based on what is in our memory. Methinks, after the govt got away with many killings perpetrated by cops, came to the conclusion that it can get away with everything. It got away with EPA, Richmonduli, Meremeta, Mwananchi Gold, SUKITA and much more stinking stuff. So too, looking at mzee Pinder’s political resume and the way he came to being premier after Eddie Lowassa messed, we’re able to know why he uttered such so-called irresponsible things.
To jog your memory, as boozers, “we remember everything spoken during our kanywaji parliament.” This is how one boozer put it. He went on, “Pinder apart from messing when he’s Minister for Regional Administration and Local Governments, kept on showing how amnesic he is. He once rejected a shangingi so as to give it to another person to use. He pointlessly contradicted his snake oil of saving pauper’s dosh the same way he did recently in Dom when he threw such an expensive party for walaji.” Usanii mtupu!
A big laughter,  and he goes on, “ He once told a lie before the Mjengo when he said that in January 5, 2011 Arusha police killings there was no foreign national while actually there was one Kenyan Paul Njuguna Kayele.” Such utterances caused a stir in the house thereby causing Arusha Town MP Godbless Lema to be kicked out after asserting that mzee Pinder told a lie something Anna Makidamakida did not like.
Another one chipped in, “So too, it’d be known that mzee Pinder had nothing to care about or lose to say what he said given that those killed and beaten were opposition guys. This is the type of rulers we now have.” He went on, “Do you remember how he assured the world he’d take on Dowans that ended up taking him in?”
Boozers were sickened to see the person they trusted immensely turning against the same people he swore to protect and serve. Up till now we can’t see the ethos, logos even pathos of mzee Pinder’s ‘wisdom’. What makes things worse for him so as to self-dressed down is the fact that the man is a lawyer who’s supposed to know and uphold the law to its spirit and letter.
When mzee Pinder ordered ndata to beat boozers shall they agitate for their rights, one boozer said that this was a sign of aging badly. The other said that mzee Pinder was suffering from malady known as kuvimbiwasis and kulewasis so as to become a wino. This is not our take though. Again, why did mzee Pinder decide to dress down?  Who knows?  Had the victims been his fans he’d have announce a national mourning week and those felled would be made martyrs.
Imagine. If what mzee Pinder said would come from the opposition telling their members to beat whoever attack them. Obviously, it’d have been branded terrorism and anarchism. Again, from mzee Pinder’s philosophy we learn that there are those who are above the law-those allowed to beat, torture and kill others without being brought to book as it happened in Kibanda’s, Ulimboka’s and Arusha’s cases. Sadly though, this way we’re letting our hunk go to the dogs. Mzee Pinder is lucky. His boss, mzee Jake Kiquette, seems to be at home with his militarism. Boozers were shocked to learn that when terrorists attacked innocent earthlings he swore to protect, he went on enjoying in the country of Brits. To add salt to the injury it came to light that they guy had a ‘very serious business’ of visiting Football Clubs posing for photo-ops while the so-called his people were perishing in the hand of his cops! Such sacrilege needs a great deal of negligence, ignorance or the courage of the mad. If this is the crop of the rulers we’ve, surely, we must brace ourselves for more troubles. If anything, this is vacuity and leadership vacuum that needs to be filled urgently.
Needless to say, mzee Pinder’s hit hard when he jabbered; boozers congratulate him on being able to unearth his true self that he hid for long. Some boozers said that we need to thank mzee Pinder instead of blaming him. First of all, there’s no any of his relatives among those who were felled in Arusha. Secondly, those who died were not the members of his party despite the fact that they were Tanzanians he cares less about. Thirdly, this is the way mzee Pinder shows his love of law and tranquility even if they are enhanced by breaking the law and through carnage and violence. Uhuni mtupu!
Mzee Pinder loves Boozers so dearly that he dispatched his cops to ‘massage’ them. One boozer left us in stitches when said that when Pinder’s regime promised better life for all they meant bitter life for all who are earthlings but not bigwigs. After all, brutality’s become another policy mzee Pinder‘s regime that’s turned boozer into experimental objects. Refer to many killings perpetrated by cops. Refer to oft harassment the opposing parties have been subjected to since the inception of pseudo multiparty democracy that has become 'demoncrazy' if not a crazy demon. Had it been democracy, do you think Jake’d have gone on enjoying in Brit land while walevi were dying? Think again.
