Breaking News: El Comandante Chavez is no more!

Venezuelan ailing president Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias was reported dead yesterday. Chavez had a long fight with  undisclosed cancer. His tearful vice president, Nicolas Maduro, briefed the nation on the passing on of Chavez in Caracas on Tuesday. Maduro was quoted as saying, "We have received the toughest and tragic information that... comandante President Hugo Chavez died today at 4:25 pm," Chavez who came to power in 1992 was renowned for his controversy in international circles and his hate of capitalism. Chavez was the darling of the dictators such as Muamar Qaddafi, Bashar Assad  Mahamood Ahmadinejad and many more. He was credited for helping social transformation in his country and Latin America. He nationalized many utilities and  made the lives of poor Venezuelans better. He used petrodollar to support poor countries in the region as a means to escape capitalist exploitation championed by World Financial Institutions such as World Bank and IMF.
Chavez died at the age of 58 years after undergoing four cancer operations in Cuba. He was re-elected last year but he was not sworn in due to being hospitalized in Cuba.
