Nimemaliza kusoma "Things Fall Apart"
Kwa wale waliosoma mwaka 47 wanakumbuka utamu na uzuri wa novo ya Things Fall Apart ya Chinua Achebe ambayo ilifundishwa kwenye fasihi ya Kiingereza sekondari. Kwa walioshinda hata vinginevyo, hakuna zawadi maishani waliondoka nayo shuleni kama Things Fall Apart. Nimeongea na akina Okonkwo, Unoka, Nwoye, Ogbuefi Ezeudu, Uchendu, Nneka, Chielo, Agbara, Ezinma, Ogbuefi Ugonna. Nimetembelea sehemu za Umuofia, Mbanta, Aninta, Abame hadi pangoni kwa mizimu ya Umuofia. Nimekuta watu wengi kwenye Ilo. Walikuwapo akina Ojiugo, Ekwefi na agadyi anyi. Nimekula foo foo na egusi na mahanjumati mengine. Nimemkumbuka marehemu Ikemefuna kiasi cha kulia kidogo na kuendelea kivyanguvyangu. Anyaway, a frog does not walk during the day without any reason. See you then. Namshukuru rafiki yangu profesa Sibanda kunichochea kurejea kumtembelea profesa Chinua Achebe.
