Nilitabiri mkanipuuza


NILIPOTABIRI ambayo yangeikumba nchi ya Tanzia, wengi waliniona chizi anayejifurahisha. Nilitabiri: Kahaba wa makahaba aitwaye mzuri kwa jina la HAKIJA, aliye machukizo ya machukizo aliyeinyakua na kuitawala nchi hii ya uzuri wa ajabu, atawaalika wenzake wainajisi ardhi kiasi cha kuwageuza watumwa Watanzia.

Ni kahaba huyu aliyekataliwa na nabii Musa akionya: “Watakuja wengi kwa jina langu wakiwaaminisha watawapeleka Kanani. Lakini watawapeleka machinjioni baada ya kuwaibia na kuwanajisi nyinyi na ardhi yenu. Wataacha maafa kwa vijukuu zenu baada ya kuwatesani.” Hamkumbuki? Nabii Musa alimkataa kiumbe huyu wazi wazi ili anusurike. Hakubabaishwa na urembo na tenzi zake.

Hamkumbuki! Mlionywa. Uzuri, mnaodhani HAKIJA anao, umeficha ukatili na uoza visivyo kifani! Ni mchafu kuliko hata uvungu wa ndoo. Hafai hata kuaminiwa kiporo, achia mbali mali za thamani na uhai wenu.

Muone mara ngapi ndipo muamini unabii? Mlifanya kosa kupuuzia unabii huu. Sasa mmeishajionea gharama yake. Je, mtaendelea na wehu na ujuha kumwacha kahaba azidi kuinajisi ardhi? Au mnataka mpigwe na kwa mapigo ya vyura na nge ndipo mgutuke maskini majuha nyie.

Pia nilionya: mtakamatwa na kufungwa kongwa na kuelekezwa majili kama kondoo kwa malipo ya vitu uchwara na kujilisha pepo.

Japo niliongea kwa lugha rahisi, watanzia hawakunielewa! Kama wapo walionielewa, walinipuuzia wakiendelea kufanya ufuska wao chini ya utawala wa kahaba mkuu.

Leo natoa tahadhali nyingine kwa watu wa Tanzia. Ni juzi tu nilisikia kuwa sarafu yenu ya Kwenje inaghushiwa na wakubwa zenu ili kupata mitaji ya kuwanunulia upuuzi nanyi muwape kura ya kula. Haya yamesemwa mchana juu ya uchafu huu.

Kwanza, nalaani japo sihusiki. Kama jina lenu, sasa mmefikia kwenye kitanzi na mwisho tutatangaza tanzia. Yaani mnachezea pesa yenu wenyewe tena kwa kutumia mamlaka zenu wenyewe kisa eti kuwawezesha makahaba wachache kuendelea kuwatawaleni! Ni hatari na aibu sina mfano.


Maadui hawa wa kweli wamewahadaa na kuwatengenezea maadui bandia. Nanyi mmekubali! Kimsingi, maadui ni wao si hao wa kutengenezwa. Mnadanganywa kuwa ni bora na salama wakati hamna lolote.

Mgekuwa wa maana na bora msingefanyiwa mnayofanyiwa-ujambazi na unajisi wa mchana. Ni nani akuheshimuye kwa kukugeuza changudoa kimaisha? Hakuna heshima katika kulambana vichongo na kushindiliana visu tena kama jamii.

Walianza na kuhomola wakapigiwa kelele na kuumbuka ingawa hawakushughulikiwa. Wako wapi akina HEPA zaidi ya kugeuka mahepe? Nambie. Wako wapi akina Kagodoka bint Ikuru, Richmonduli na wengine? Sasa wameanza kuchonga sarafu na kuighushi!

Uchumi wenu sahauni ndugu zangu watanzia mliovamiwa na makahaba na majambazi kutoka kila kona ya dunia. Kila siku wanaingia kwa ndege, treni, mitumbwi, meli hata mabasi nanyi mnaangalia tu! Mmekwisha amkeni.

Kama hamjui jueni. Hii ndiyo siri ya uchumi wenu kuendelea kuwa nusu kaputi wakati wa viinchi vidogo tu uking’ara. Mnatawaliwa na wezi na majambazi wajivikao utukufu. Msipofutu hili jueni mmekwisha tena vibaya.

Sasa natabiri jingine kubwa lao. Baada ya kughushi sarafu kesho wataghushi shahada za uchaguzi. Hapa ndipo fumbo la ushindi na vishindo ulipo siku zote ingawa hamjawahi kung’amua.

Nilionya kuwa maadui zenu ni watu wenu wale wale wajivishao utukufu na utoaji wa haki wakati wao ndiyo kikwazo cha haki na maendeleo yenu.

Pia niliwaonyeni kuacha umbwa na ufisi ambapo mnalishwa nyama za wenzenu kwa kuungwa na kukaanga. Narudia tena kwa lugha rahisi. Msipoacha tamaa na ujuha wa kupenda kuhongwa upuuzi mmekwisha na msinililie siku mtakapojikuta majilini.

Ingawa ni ujuha na utoto kuchezea sarafu yenu, tatizo kubwa ni nyinyi wavivu wa kufikiri na kufanya maamuzi magumu. Hawa wanaofanya hivi nao ni majuha kama nyinyi ingawa wanajiona wajanja. Kwani wanaishi katika leo na kuipuuzia kesho, wasijue kesho ni bora kuliko leo!

Wao watafanya ukahaba wao na kutoweka. Tanzia ilikuwapo na itakuwapo milele. Je, ni nani mpumbavu aachaye miiba kwenye shamba ili imchome mwanae kesho? Wambieni waelewe ingawa hawana masikio. Kwa vile hawana masikio, tumieni lugha ya nyuki ambao bila moto huwa hawaondoki mzingani.

Niliwaonya mbabane na kujua kila kipato cha mtu awe mkubwa au mdogo mkaniona wa jana. Mlitanguliza ujuha wa ujanja kupata au kuwahi.

Yako wapi sasa? Haya mmeambiwa kila kitu kuwa sarafu yenu si salama wala nyinyi na nchi yenu si salama. Mtakuwaje salama wakati mwaelekea majilini? Nchi inachezewa kama mnavyochezewa. Sarafu inahujumiwa kama inavyohujumiwa ukiacha mbali nyinyi na vizazi vyenu.

Tanzia imnekabidhiwa mikononi mwa wageni wenye uchu kama fisi wakijiibia watakavyo na kuhamisha utajiri wenu wakati nyinyi mnanyongwa na ulofa. Tieni akilini sasa. Chukueni hatua sasa.

Wanakuja kwa gea mbali mbali, uwekezaji ambao kimsingi ni uchukuaji. Utalii na akila aina ya mbinu wakisaidiwa na vyangudoa wao waliozaliwa Tanzia. Hakuna kuishiwa kama mtu kujiibia mwenyewe hasa anapokuwa amekabidhiwa dhamana hii na umma.

Juzi mliibiwa TiRaeLo na hao hao kwa kisingizio kuwa wenzao wameshindwa. Kwani hawakuambiwa kuwa hawa jamaa ni watupu? Lakini nani angesikia wakati alikuwa akisikia na kuona kwa ten percent? Halafu mbweha hawa hawa eti wanawaaminisha wanaweza kuwavusha nanyi kwa ujuha na utaahira wenu mnawaamini!

Kama nyinyi si wanafiki basi ni vichaa wa aina yake chini ya jua. Mshikwe wapi mshtuke? Mliwe vipi hadi mchukie? Muibiwe vipi ndipo muone hasara? Mdhalilishwe kiasi gani ndipo muudhike? Ashakum si matusi huenda mliumbika bahati mbaya. Ni ajali ya kimaumbile huenda.

Nimalizie kwa kuwaasa kuwa adui wenu mkubwa ni nyinyi mnaotoa mwanya kuwaalika makahaba kuinajisi ardhi yenu takatifu. Chukueni hatua sasa na wakati ni huu. Acheni uroho na ujuha woga na kuishi kwa matumaini. Habari ndiyo hiyo.

Hivi kuku wako akianza kula mayai huwa unamfanyia nini? Je, wale uliowaamini kulinda sarafu yako wanapoanza kuighushi utawafanya nini kwenye kipute cha Oktoba? Kazi kwako. Lo! Kumbe nilikuwa naota!

Tell us the truth about Zenj’s matambuano




News that what’s drummed as a success story of peace and reconciliation in Zenj was enhanced by pressure from EU stuns.

It came to light that EU warned our helmsmen and their adversaries in Zenj that shall next elections be mired by killings or something near; they’ll be dispatched to The Hague to be ground by Luis Moreno Ocampo. When Ocampo roars big men look like a church mouse.

I must say it. Currently, Ocampo’s name causes grumblings in some African countries especially those ruled by blood dripping hands like Sudan and partly Kenya .
I thus humbly thank and commend EU for solving the puzzle that failed Commonwealth in Zenj. Because since they stepped in Zanzibar is doing remarkably well.

I must avow. I goofed thinking two protagonists were behind this historic hit! To the contrary though, it turned out, they’re forced. News homing in on the whole thing says that. This means. All chest-beating and pizazz is chimera next to hypocrisy! Karume and Maalim do not deserve any credit. This is why they did not want to disclose what they tallied upon till when this daunting truth came forth.

They told us they recognized their mistakes, a lie. And now they’re putting Zanzibar ’s interest ahead of personal ones! But why late like this they mean serious business? This does not wash with truth. If this holds water, why did they come up with something whose enforceability is by breaking, and tampering with, the constitution?

If the truth is: EU brokered understanding in Zanzibar then what are all those braggadocios and noises for? We’ve been hearing people praising each other where they’re supposed to do so to EU. I still vividly remember words like “this time we zenjs won’t turn back and nobody will stop us” kidudu mtu, wabara, chogo and what not.

Yeah. Zenjs and Tanganyikans need peace. But why should the credit go to Maalim Seif and Daktari Karume whilst the actual mover is EU? And the aura and fame the duo has been enjoying is not theirs. One thing is great. Shall this be exerted to all bloodletting countries, indeed, deaths and destruction will be averted.
Who wants to end up in the can like Charles Taylor and Slobodan Milosevic? This being the case why then should we give kudos to those supposed to be villains? Is it the reason why the motive behind, and what was agreed, in Zenj’s understanding was kept a top secret?

Karume reckoning how gruesome it was for him to ascend to power, he won’t badge even a minute to allow this window to close. Even Maalim knows this fully well. That’s why he wanted to toss him bait.

I was wondering to hear that -those questioning the lightening speed in which the deal was reached-do not wish Zanzibar well! Who really wish Zanzibar well between Thomases and those that, for long, ignored to use their common sense -to do a right thing?

Was the motive of peace and prosperity of Zanzibar conceived by the duo or the fear to be submitted to The Hague ? I now know why President Jakaya Kikwete was left out of the big picture. Though politicians can not be trust, I used to wonder how could erstwhile enemies like the duo would sit and dine together thanks to the verbal understanding where doyens failed!

By the same token, I know why Karume did not to accept the offer by Maalim to prorogue his term. Such proposals were as good as being given a rope to hang himself. Who wants to sit on powder keg after getting a leeway to survive?
But again, this is a challenge to African mumbo jumbos. Even sitting together and talk sense colonial masters should chip in to enhance this! How long are we going to be breastfed this way? What annoys is thankless behaviuor of scoring where you did not labour.

Help me. When will Africa come of age and shun this come-white-saviour malady? I feel small (sic) to find that all fanfares with regards to comedy known as maridhiano have coercion behind it. This reminds me baby’s behaviour. Moreso, a baby wets the bed then starts tantrums blaming everybody as if he or she is the one that messed her bed!

Look at the baby after being cleaned. He is chirping and everything becomes history. Let me make a note on this. Shall Zenj’s peace prevail, our rulers that have been behaving like the baby in point should not make bygone.

The point is. Even our union has a lot of puzzles that, for long, have been ignored by supremos. Is it time for EU to force them to use their brains instead of puerile phillipics? Methinks. It is. To not force them to tackle union enigma, is as good as treating one eye and leave another one with infection that will quickly rejuvenate and attack the other you’ve treated.

At this note, it sounds good to invite EU and other who’s who of this world to force our naive rulers to fight and stop graft. If anything, if there is anything threatening the fabrics of many nations is nothing but graft. This crime against humanity allows a privileged few to bulldoze and rob the majority. It causes milliard miseries to milliards of people in Africa.

Transparency and truth are needed in this matter. But as usual, politicians promise openness and give opaqueness. Without truth coming out from the protagonists themselves all they are pretending to stand for will vanish in thin air soon. And the thawing of their relation won’t live longer.

No story ever really ends. Zanzibar ’s maridhiano begs more questions than answers. The story is still a baby. Tell us the truth before you tell us what to do and achieve.

Kagame Must Reconcile with Rwandans

What betided Rwanda recently shows that Rwandan President Paul Kagame is slowly losing his grip on Rwanda. Reports that the country's former chief of staff Lt. Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa fled Rwanda to South Africa will have telling effects. It is a lot to do with the weathering of Kagame’s power.

President Kagame has the credit of calming Rwanda down and ushering in notable development. He must however embark on true democracy and avoid overstaying in power like his Ugandan counterpart.

Naturally, arrogance creates self-destructing seeds. For long, Kagame has been everything in Rwanda. After taking over and appointing a stooge in former president Pasteur Bizimungu, he kept pulling strings behind the curtain till he deposed Bizimungu. Apart from manipulating the constitution to remain in power, Kagame has ruled Rwanda with an iron fist. He has banked on genocide as a pretext to punish or thwart alternative ideas. Refer to the recent attack on opposition leader and presidential aspirant Victoire Ingabire, whom he accused of touching the scars of the nation simply because she inquired why Hutu’s are sidelined. President Kagame also lodges serious crimes against his critics. Nyamwasa is a recent casualty. For a while Kagame’s gimcrack gimmicks have worked. But as time lapses, it seems, his magic bullet is losing credibility thanks to taking on the members of his inner sanctum.

What is going on in Rwanda borders the episode of an egg eating hen. After eating all eggs, the hen found itself facing the big question: How will I forge ahead without procreating? Kagame, like any dictator, does not think about dying or democracy but ruling for life. This is the take of his opponents.

Sixteen years down the line, people are starting to question the infallibility of Kagame. They’re tired of boot licking. They want true democracy. Ingabire says that Rwandans want politics based on true democracy; not claptrap, deceit and backstabbing. Hell bent to stage a clean and tough fight, Ingabire has brought new breath in Rwandan politics.

Regarded by his foes as a self-appointed guardian and custodian of stability in Rwanda, Kagame needs to understand that the well being of a country depends on the citizenry as whole, not a one man show. Although he’s always maintained that he is not a dictator, the words of Nyamwasa, one of his inner sanctum that recently fell out with him, speak volumes.

“Look at the turnover of all people who have served in that regime. It tells the whole story. Look at all those who have served with President Paul Kagame, ask him who is still serving with him now. If all of us are bad and he is the only good person, then Rwanda has no future,” says Nyamwasa.

Most African rulers give ambassadorial posts to perceived ‘rivals’ to make them forgotten by the people at home. Kagame’s been disposing almost all comrades he regards a threat to his rule.

Lt. Gen. Nyamwasa, who until he fled was Rwanda’s ambassador to India, joins a growing list of former senior Rwandan army officers who in recent years have fallen out with President Kagame -- and ultimately left the left country. In 2007, Col. Karegeya, also fled to Uganda and then to South Africa. Others include Theoneste Musindashaka (July 27, 2009), Senator Stanley Safari (June 2, 2009), Lt. Col. Sam Baguma (April 2009); Capt. Evarist, Capt. Eliphaz Ndikuyezu, Capt. Claude Bizimungu, Capt. John Uwintari, Capt. John Bosco Muhizi, Capt. Theobal Gakumba, Capt. John Ontabuka, Jean Pierre Kagubare and Maj.Gen. Emmanuel Habyarimana (2004).

How things happen in Rwanda is not any difference from how they are happening in Uganda. Where are comrades like James Kazini, Noble Mayombo, Brigadier Nakibus Lakara (former Chief of Staff), Brigadier Henry Tumukunde (former director general of the Internal Security Organization) and others that were buddies of Museveni?

Kagame must reconcile with his people by doing things the way they democratically want. It’ll be surreal shall Rwanda lose the gains she achieved under Kagame.

Msimchezee God kwa njaa zenu

Hivi karibuni kwenye mgogoro wa kupitisha nishati maeneo ya Nonihino nilijikuta hoi bin taaban baada ya tapeli mmoja aitwaye Ka-Tortoise kusema: ataamuru umeme usiwake! Nani ametumerogwa hadi kuvumilia wezi na wachumia tumbo hawa? Baya zaidi, tumeamini na kusajili utapeli huu!

Mpiga debe mpya wa nambari wani Gus Lyatongolwa anajua ninachomaanisha. Alitapeliwa na tapeli huyu na kuaminishwa: angeukwaa ukuu asijue atausikia bombani.

Kama sikosei, hawa ndiyo wanaowahadaa wapumbavu na majuha wetu kuwa viungo vya mazeruzure ni dili la ukwasi wakati ukwasi unategemea juhudi au ufisadi wako kutegemea wewe ni nani na uko wapi.

Kama wewe ni mwandishi wa habari kanjanja na changu, huna haja ya kutapeliwa. Watapeli wanasiasa wachafu wakutumie kufanya kazi zao chafu mwisho wa yote mtumiane na kuiangamiza jamii kwa uroho na ujuha wenu. Huwaoni waliohongwa vyeo tena kwenye jumba jeupe baada ya kufua nepi za jamaa yangu?

Naaambieeee yako wapi? Wezi, mafisadi na manyang’au wamesafishana ingawa hawatatakata milele huku walevi wakibakia kutoa mimacho kama bundi! Shauri yenu mtaendelewa kuliwa hadi mkome. Nilitabiri kuwa kile mlichoaminishwa kuwa lilikuwa chaguo la God kingegeuka kuwa chaguo la mafisadi huku likiwageuza walevi shamba la bibi wasijue la kufanya. Nilitabiri mambo mengi sana tu.

Katika utabiri wote nilivumilia sikupayuka tena. Hili la kumchokoza bwana God wangu kuwa atatumika kishirikina kuzuia umeme usiwake sinalo subira wala kutaka radhi. Nalaani utovu huu wa nidhamu kwa aliyenifinyanga na kunijalia kupayuka nikaeleweka na kuogopewa. Kwanini wale jamaa zangu wasimkalie itikafu akaipata au nao ni yale yale danganya toto?

Bwana mkubwa Imma wa Maria na Yosefu aliwahi kusema: Watakuja wengi kwa jina langu na watapotosha wengi. Kwani si wote wasemao Bwana Bwana watauona ufalme wa mbinguni. Tahadhalini wengi ni mbweha na mbwa mwitu watawararua mkome kama mnavyoraruriwa na njaa kaya.

Je tukiangalia wasanii kibao waliojitosa kwenye majoho sawa na wanasiasa tunajifunza nini? Je si kuishiwa kwa namna yake hadi kufikia kuahidi miujiza isiyowezekana? Mungu hawezi kuzuia umeme kuwaka. Maana yeye ni wa mwanga wala si wa giza kama hawa watu wa giza wanavyotaka tuamini na kuelewa kuwa wanaweza kufanya miujiza wakati miujiza yao ni usanii na ujambazi mbuzi tu.

Jamani, k ama mna nguvu kiasi hiki kwanini mnaishi kwa kuwaibia walevi kwa kuwatoza mshiko wa jina la God kila uchao? Kwanini hamzitumii hizo nguvu kuondoa umaskini, magonjwa na ujinga mnaoutumia kuwaibia?

Juzi Ngelanija alipotangaza kuwa mradi wa kutupatia umeme sisi walevi wa maeneo ya Mwenge na vitongoji wake utaendelea nilifarijika na kufurahi. Maana nilishamlima barua yeye na bosi wake waache kuendekeza upuuzi mdogo mdogo kwenye masuala ya umma. Kwa jinsi barua ilivyokuwa noma hawakujibu. Sasa nawapongeza kwa kutekeleza maagizo yangu kuwa katika shughuli za umma tuepuke wafanya biashara tena wachuuzi wa roho za makapuku kama Ka- Tortoise, Rwakata.. malizia mwenyewe, Gaman... malizia pia na wengine wengi waliovamia jiwe kama magabacholi na mafisadi wengine.

Hakuna kitu kinauma kama tapeli wa kawaida kujivisha usemaji wa Bwana God wakati ni mchumia tumbo na mwizi wa mishiko ya matoleo tu. Hili sukusi limenikumbusha, audhubillahi mina shaitwan rajiim, shehena mmoja aitwaye Yaya bingwa wa kuwatabilia mauti wenzake wakati naye ni mfu mtarajiwa kutokana na afya yake kuwa migogoro hadi kufadhiliwa kwenda Uhindini kujiganga.

Mie napenda matapeli wanaosema wazi wazi kuwa ni matapeli na siyo watu wa majoho na wanapolitiki uchwara waliotamalaki kaya hii. Hamumuoni mzee Lyatongolwa anavyohanikiza kutangaza mapenzi yake mapya kwa Njaa Kaya? Jamaa hafichi uchovu wake ingawa amesema yeye ni mkwasi kuliko jamaa yangu wa Kupinda pinda kwenye Mizengwe.

Kwanini Ka-Tortoise asifanye kama Lyantogolwa ambaye ukapa umemfanya arambe matapishi yake mchana kweupe kwa kutangaza wazi wazi kuwa ataipigia kampeni nambari nonihino? Kumbe waliosema kuwa jamaa ni pandikizi na hakurejesha kadi ya kigwena cha Idodomya hawakukosea! Kuna haja ya kujiuliza. Tunawauza ndugu zetu kwa vipande thelathini vya fedha kwa faida ya nani?

Hakuna kilichonishangaza kama Lyatongolwa kumvaa Sammy Sixx akisema kuwa ni mchochezi wakati naye ni nyemelezi. Hapa kuna haja ya kutia akilini. Hawa wote wawili ni wasanii na wanajuana kama wacheza karata tatu. Ukiwafuata umeliwa unajiona ingawa huko nyuma walikuaminisha kuwa wanaweza kukuokoa wakati ni mbwa mwitu wa kawaida na simba marara.

Hakuna kitu kinasikitisha kama baba zima kujigeuza changu kwa sababu ya kujaza tumbo lisiloshiba wala kushukuru. Hamkumsikia mheshimika mmoja akimwaga shikamoo kwa sana kwa watoto wa shule? Hivi huyu hawezi kutongoza vitoto vyetu? Maana hajui tofauti ya mkubwa wala mdogo. Acheni kutuzengua na upuuzi wenu. Sasa tazama tumepoteza muda tukilumbana na wachovu kiasi cha kutucheleweshea nishati kwa walalakizani wetu.

Yote haya ni kutokana na kuwa na lisirikali lisilo na maana wala udhu linaloogopa kila fisadi na tapeli kutokana na uchafu wake. Kimsingi, hapakuwa na sababu ya kukaa meza moja na Ka-Tortoise kumpa nafasi ya kutafuta umaarufu uchwara.

Hata hivyo tushishangae hili. Hamuoni lisirikali linavyoendelea kuwaendekeza akina Ewassa na Roast Tamu kwa kuendekeza suluhu uchwara wakati kinachopaswa kufanyika ni kuwapeleka majambawazi hawa lupango mara moja?

Jamaa aliniacha hoi aliposema eti kaya itawaka moto ambao hakuna atakayeuzima kabla ya kunywea na kuja na ngonjera za miujiza. Nigeria: Hajia Turai Holding Over 140 Million Hostage

Reports that Nigeria’s ailing president was smuggled into Nigeria without the knowledge of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the country’s vice president, is disgusting. Jonathan did not even authorize the army to line up Abuja streets at the time his boss secretly arrived. What’s more, the media in Nigeria was caught off-guard thanks to the news of Yar’Adua's arrival being broken by Al-Jazeera Television.

The situation in Nigeria is a replica of what is going on in many African countries where a kit and caboodle of power brokers surrounding big men can abuse the constitution by hijacking the president without being dealt with. If Jonathan was not aware off all happenings-cum-goings-on, who is crewing Nigeria? What is the root of this unconstitutionality in the first place? Who ordered the army to line up Abuja streets?

The first suspect in this power abuse and usurpation is none other than the first lady, Turai who barred Jonathan from having audience with his boss. Other culprits are Yar’Adua’s relatives. Yar’Adua’s mother, Hajj Dada, was recently quoted praying that her son be allowed to go back to Katsina so that prayers would be made for his recovery. The pretext Turai offers is that doctors told her not to allow anyone to see the president! What rubbish!

Ensconced amidst power brokers from Katsina, the home of Yar’Adua, Turai is doing whatever she can to get away with it; shall the president pass on anytime. This has created much jumble in Nigeria. Nigerians do not know the condition of their president. Rumours are rife that Yar’Adua is in bad shape and therefore, anything can happen anytime. Turai and Co are embarking on these abracadabras to create a conducive environment for power to change hands. Some refer to Turai as Nigeria's Imelda Marcos after the influential wife of former Filipino strongman Ferdinand Marcos, who ruled for more than two decades before being driven from power by protests in 1986.

First ladies and whiz kids surrounding African big men are tearing down our continent. They’ve become presidents behind the curtain. Some accost journalists and wield immense powers as if they have constitutional backing to act like rulers. In Uganda, the president’s clan-cum-family use the country like their privy firm and nothing is done to arrest this anomaly! They are everywhere doing everything that can make money. All lucrative tenders and the like are under the control of their netherworld. Like the strongman himself, they’re above the law. That’s why Museveni’s Brother Caleb Akandwanao aka Saleh Salim has nary been charged for corruption.

The situation is even gross in Algeria, Congo, DRC, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Libya, Gambia, Rwanda, Togo, Tunisia and Zimbabwe where a family-crony axis of evil lords it over people.

News that Yar’Adua’s wife glutted the acting president from seeing his boss without the fear of the institution of presidency is a blow to Nigeria.In US, when a winning presidential candidate is declared president, They say: "This is not a normal human being but the president of the United States." This means, the president-elect ceases to be a family matter but a public figure. In principle the president is supposed to be above petty confines like tribe, religion, region and what not. Yar’Adua’s wife has therefore grossly erred to hijack the president of the people that voted him their leader. This crime borders treason. Legally speaking, Nigerians have the right to see and hear their president. They’re the ones that voted him their president. What she is doing is dangerous for democracy.

Yar’Adua is bedridden. That is why he’s nary been seen in public since November last year. That’s why his homecoming was secretive and controversial. He needs freedom from manipulators.

Were I Jonathan, under the power vested in me under Nigeria’s constitution, I’d order the release of the information about the president’s bill of health come what may. This would help to stop anxiety and confusion about the president. And it’d stop the machinations carried out by Mafioso surrounding the president.

What’s going on in Nigeria is a big lesson for Africa. We need to lop powers that first ladies and cronies wield behind the curtains. Even Prince Philip despite being the consort of the Queen can nary barricade Britons from seeing their monarch simply because they share one bed. Turai’s mischievous stance has offended Nigerians.

“I believe that it is people around him [Yar'Adua] that are gaining from the confusion" says Information Minister Dora Akunyili. "People around him are doing to him today what 100 million political enemies cannot do to him. The cabal wants to continue with their usual statement of 'the president said,' and you must comply. They want to continue dishing out instructions even when the president did not say so,” the minister says. She warns: “This cabal should, please, stop heating up the system and allow President Yar'Adua to recover.”

This statement shows how desperate and frustrated Nigerians are. The whole minister does not know anything about the health of her boss simply because his wife and the cabal do not like!

Paroxysms emanating from Yar’Adua affair do not end up in Nigeria. The US has already warned that Jonathan must be left alone to rule till the president is declared fit to rule. Nigerians are wary and balked. Professor Itse Sagay, one of Nigeria’s political pundits was recently quoted as thus: “In the absence of that, being brought back in an ambulance and then taken by an ambulance, somewhere without being seen, simple is a token that his condition is still very bad, rather than the other way round. And, so, this cannot make any difference to the institution of an acting presidency.

We should start thinking about how to curb president’s wives, cronies and other hyena-like power brokers behind the president or first lady. Importantly, Yar’Adua needs to be freed from the first lady and her inner sanctum bĂȘtes noix.

Uchaguzi Oktoba: Chukua tahadhari

OKTOBA mwaka huu utafanyika uchaguzi mkuu. Huu ni msimu wa wanasiasa kuwa karibu na wananchi, hasa wapiga kura.

Ni wakati wa usawa kuonekana miongoni mwa makundi mawili yaliyokuwa yakiishi kama mbingu na ardhi kwa miaka mitano.

Hakika, huu ni wakati wa ahadi nono na nyingi ambazo mwisho wake ni kilio kwa walioahidiwa na kicheko kwa walioahidi.

Katika msimu huu, kila mtu hujiona mjanja ingawa sivyo. Mpiga kura hujiona kama amepanda chati kiasi cha kupendwa na kuwa sawa na waheshimiwa.

Na waheshimiwa waliokuwa wakiishi mwezini hujishusha na kujumuika na wapiga kura ili wawalize na kutoweka.

Ukiachia mbali wapiga kura, lipo kundi la waandishi wa habari wanaotumikia matumbo yao. Hawa maadili yao yamo tumboni mwao. Akili zao pia zimo zaidi tumboni kuliko kichwani.

Kwao huu ni wakati mzuri wa kuwinda na kuvuna. Hujipeleka kwa wanasiasa hasa mafisadi wakiwa tayari kupata mradi wa kuzoa uchafu wao na kuwapamba kwa kila namna.

Hawa ni hatari kuliko hata wapigakura hasa wa mashambani ambao huangamizwa kwa ujinga wao.

Hapa ndipo waandishi wanakuwa hatari kwa maana ya kutumia taaluma ya ukombozi kufanya maangamizi.

Kwani nani amewasahau waandishi “wadandizi;” wale wanaoitwa waandamizi, walioajiriwa kuisafisha Richmond ukiachilia mbali kutumiwa na mgombea fulani mwenye kutia kila aina ya shaka kuukwaa ulaji?

Hyo ilikuwa mwaka 2005, na baada ya hapo baadhi yao wamezawadiwa vyeo uchwara kama shukrani kwa kuuza utu na taaluma yao.

Kuna kundi jingine la wanasiasa nyemelezi wanaosifika kwa kuhamahama vyama. Hawa wana njaa kuliko hata moto uunguzao kila kijacho mbele yake.

Wako tayari kulamba matapishi yao hata kwa kuahidiwa peremende; yaani vyeo vidogo kama “kufinyangiwa” ofisi kwenye chama tawala.

Kitengo kilichogeuka dampo la wahamaji hawa ni ofisi za propaganda ukiachilia mbali uenezi wilayani.

Wapo wengi waliokuwa na sifa ya kuwa “samba” kwenye upinzani. Waliondoka upinzani kwa mbwembwe na kuishia kuwa “tairi za spea” za chama tawala.

Katika hali hii, mhusika hujikuta hawezi kwenda mbele wala nyuma, bali kujigeuza mtumwa wa tumbo lake lisilo na shukrani.

Hali huzidi kuwa mbaya hasa pale vyama vinapokuwa na “wenyewe” kama wasemavyo katika baadhi ya vyama. Katika hali hii, nyemelezi hujikuta kama mtalaka atafutaye chuo kingine asijue kila aendapo hutiliwa shaka.

Swali kubwa linalokabili wahamaji ni kwanini waliachika kwenye ndoa zao za kwanza.

Kwa vile wahusika hawana manufaa kwa kambi wajiungazo nazo, isipokuwa kutaka kuzitumia kwa maslahi yao binafsi, huwa tayari kubeba kila aina ya unguliko na sononeko; wakijitahidi kuwaridhisha mabwana zao wapya bila mafanikio.

Huishia kuwa vihongwe wawezao kubebeshwa kila upuuzi alimradi mkono uende kinywani.

Kuna wafanyabiashara wenye pesa chafu na utajiri utokanao na jinai. Hawa huwadhamini wagombea fisadi ili kuwatumia kufanikisha tenda nono na mikataba ya aibu.

Kupitia urafiki huu wa mashaka, nchi huuzwa na watu wake. Madini na raslimali nyingine hushindwa kuukwamua umma kutoka kwenye bahari ya umaskini wa kunuka.

Maskini hawa huingia ndoa ya mauti kwa taifa; nao kama makundi tajwa hapo juu, hutumia tumbo kufikiri badala ya ubongo.

Wafanyabishara wachafu siyo kwamba wanawadhamini wanasiasa wachafu tu, bali pia nao siku hizi wanaingia kugombea uongozi ili waweze kuutumia kujitajirisha na kuwakamua wafanyabiashara wenzao kwa kufanikisha mipango yao.

Hawa ni hatari kuliko hata wale wa mwanzo ambao huhitaji mtu wa kuwafanyia mipango na shughuli zao serikalini.

Tumekuwa tukiwalaumu sana wanasiasa, lakini kuna ukweli ambao lazima tuukubali. Jamii mbovu huchagua viongozi wabovu kama kielelezo cha ubovu na uoza wake.

Huwezi kudai na kupewa takrima ukala halafu akupaye ukampa kura yako ukategemea akuletee maendeleo.

Kwa mafisadi hawa, majimbo yao si wapiga kura, bali matumbo yao. Hata taifa lao si wananchi, bali matumbo yao. Na hii ndiyo siri ya nchi kuzidi kutopea kwenye ufisadi huku umma ukigeuka watazamaji japo, kimsingi ndio unaoathirika kuliko watawala.

Je, umma unakaa kimya kutokana na kujua udhaifu wake wa kuendekeza takrima badala ya maslahi au kwa vile haujui la kufanya?

Je, umma uambiwe mara ngapi ili ujifunze? Kwa vile msimu wa kuongopewa na kuahidiwa kila aina ya vinono na pepo umetimia, kama jamii, hatuna budi kuzidi kutahadhalishana ili hapo baadaye tusiendelee kutumiwa na kudhulumiwa.

Tutakuwa jamii kipofu wa ajabu kuendelea kurudia makosa kila msimu wa uchaguzi.

Leo tuna watu wanaojulikana, wameghushi vyeti vyao vya taaluma na hawataki kuachia ofisi kwa vile mamlaka zilizowateua zimeamua kukaa kimya.

Kama wapiga kura tuna kila sababu na uwezo wa kutowapa kura wagombea wa aina hiyo, kwani tumejua hawafai.

Kuna ndoa fifi kati ya wanasiasa na baadhi ya waandishi wa habari. Waandishi watovu wa maadili hujikuta wakiwinda na kuwindwa na wanasiasa wachovu na wachafu ambao wanatafuta watu wa kuwapamba na kusafisha uchafu wao ili umma uwakubali ilhali hawafai kabisa.

Vyombo vya habari vya msimu huzuka na kufa baada ya uchaguzi. Vingi hujikuta vikigeuzwa nyumba ndogo za wanasiasa mafisadi kwa kuvinunua na kuvimiliki bila vyenyewe kujua.

Uongo na lugha chafu husikika na kusomwa kila uchao kwenye vyombo vya habari. Mtasikia na kushuhudia mengi. Muhimu ni kwa wapiga kura na wananchi kwa ujumla kutokubali kuburuzwa kwenye mtego huu hatari.

Maana kufanya hivyo ni furaha ya msimu ambayo mwisho wake ni kilio cha milele. Kipindi hiki ni hatari kwa jamii na taifa kwani huja na lugha tamu na ahadi lukuki ambazo hawawezi kutekeleza hata moja.

Wengi wanajiuliza: Hivi inakuwaje mtu mzima hukosa kumbukumbu kiasi cha kubariki na kupogolea mauti yake na jamii yake?

Kitu kimoja ni dhahiri; kwa kutoangalia nyuma na kutia kumbukumbu, tunaweka rehani vizazi vijavyo. Kwa kuendeleza upuuzi huu, kuna siku wajukuu zetu watayachapa bakora makaburi yetu na kuyafukua kuchunguza uwezo wetu kifikra.

Haya shime wananchi tahadharini wanasiasa uchwara na nyemelezi wanaodandia vyama kama nyani kwenye matawi ya miti.

Tahadharini. Wakati wa kudanganywa na kuibiwa unakaribia na kila kitu kiko wazi. Nyasi zimetandazwa ugani. Farasi atashindwaje kufungiana nyama na nyangwa?

Bangi nibangue nipambane na Njaa Kaya

BAADA ya kuja na waraka wa uchafuzi wa uchaguzi nimegundua kuwa bila kufanya utafiti siwezi kushinda kuondoa Njaa Kaya, hivyo nimeunda Taasisi ya Mpayukaji Syndicate Bureau of Research and Propaganda (MSBRP).

Kama kawaida, makao makuu ya asasi hii ni Kwa Mfuga Mbwa Bongo. Kazi adhimu na muhimu ya taasisi hii ni kuhakikisha nayafanyia utafiti mateso ya wanakaya na walevi wote ili niwaeleze wanayopaswa kufanya kujikomboa kutokana na Njaa Kaya.

Katika kufanikisha adhima hii ya ukombozi, nimegundua nyenzo mbili za kiakili, yaani ulabu na bangi. Maana bila kuutwika na kuvuta ndumu, kaya hii huishi na ukiishi ni kwa muda kabla ya BP hata Shell havijakudedisha kutokana na matatizo na kuchanganyikiwa ukiachia mbali njaa iliyoivamia kaya ambayo kwenye utafiti wangu nitaiita Njaa Kaya.

Kwanza nitoe tahadhari. Wale jamaa zangu wanaohongwa na wanaoniuzia mibangi yangu wasipoteze muda kuniwinda. Sina pesa ya kuwahonga ukiachia mbali mie kutaka nipelekwe lupango huenda nikala bure kuliko kuuawa na Njaa Kaya uraiani.

Isitoshe kazi hii ya ukombozi inalenga kuwakomboa hata wao waachane na maisha ya kutegemea rushwa na jinai nyingine zinazowadhalilisha ukiachia mbali kuhatarisha ajira na sifa zao.

Utafiti wangu umegundua kuwa takribani nusu ya wanakaya wamegeuka komba, yaani wanakula mlo mmoja kwa siku. Hii ni idadi kubwa kuliko hata ya wapiga kura za kula. Baya zaidi, wakati wanakaya wakiishi kama komba kwa mlo mmoja, kuna watu miongoni mwetu wanashiba, kusaza na kutapanya si pesa wala chakula! Ni ufisi na ufisadi kiasi gani?

Nimegundua kuwa bei ya kashata inapanda kutokana na kugeuzwa kitafunio huku kahawa na tangawizi vikigeuzwa chai kutokana na njaa mifukoni. Anayebishia hili aje kijiweni aone watu wanavyofungua kinywa kwa kahawa, tena ya kubomu.

Habari ndiyo hiyo. Ila kuna watu wetu, tena wakubwa wanaojiita wenzetu, wala hawashindii kahawa wala kashata bali mikuku, mirosti na makoro koro mengine ya bei mbaya na kutamanisha. Hawa wanaitwa watu wala au wala watu kwa lugha ya kijiweni kwetu.

Watu wala hawa hutumia pesa itokanayo na mapato ya kaya na kijiwe hata kwenda kutanua nje ya kaya, huku sisi tukiangamia kwa njaa kaya. Hakika hawana roho zaidi ya uroho miilini mwao.

Hata hivyo nao wana njaa ya mawazo. Vichwa vyao vimekonda kwa njaa ya maarifa na kujitambua bila kusahau kutambua hatari inayowakabili huko tuendako. Wangekuwa na tone hata la akili wangewezaje kuponda mabilioni ilhali wamezungukwa na bahari ya wanuka njaa?

Kutokana na uroho na upogo wa wenzetu hawa wasio wenzetu kitu, wamesababisha idadi ya walevi na wavuta ganja kuongezeka. Hamkusikia waliovuta sana bangi hadi wakatwambia kuwa tule majani ili wao watanue na ulevi wao madaraka na bangi za kujilisha upepo wasijue baadaye tutawatoa mapepo ya ushufaa kwa kuwafikisha kwa pilato?

Muulize rafiki yangu Pesa Tatu mwana wa Basie mtoto wa Meku na bosi wake Tunituni wa Makapu anayeishi kama bundi.

Kitu kimoja hakujua. Watu wakila majani kama mimi wanafyatuka akili kiasi cha kuweza hata kuwabonda watalii mawe wanapokwenda sehemu kufanya utalii na usanii! Mwanafyale upo mwana wakwa?

Bangi si mchezo ndugu zangu. Unawakumbuka jamaa zetu walioivuta wakajiona wao ni wanajeshi kiasi cha kujiita makamanda wakati ukweli ni makavimada wa nambari nonihino na mafisadi? Wameishia wapi zaidi ya kuula wa chuya na kuanza kuzomewa kama vyangu? Ndugu yangu Six wa Kiwembe upo?

Huwezi kupambana na Njaa Kaya kama una njaa kichwani. Heri yangu mwenye njaa tumboni kuliko kichwani. Ukiwa na njaa kichwani utawachuuza wenzio usijue nawe utachuuzwa.

Katika utafiti wangu nimeandika kitabu cha taarifa kiitwacho SAA YA UKOMBOZI ambapo swali kuu ni ukombozi unaowalenga wenye njaa matumboni na wenye njaa vichwani. Wenye njaa ya tumbo wamekondeana, lakini vichwa vyao vina afya. Kwani hawaachi kuuliza kulikoni.

Wenye njaa vichwani wao ni kama mafisi. Wanadhani mambo hayatabadilika. Wanajidanganya kwa kusuluhishana kinafiki wasijue dhuluma haina suluhu zaidi ya kumnyonga mwenye kudhulumu.

Katika kuvuta bangi na kuandika kitabu cha ukombozi, nimegundua kuwa kuna haja ya watu kuvuta sana bangi ili iwabangue wapambane na watesi wao bila msamaha wala huruma.

Njaa Kaya ni hatari. Maana wakati wenye njaa vichwani wakijiridhisha, wenye njaa tumboni wanazidi kuteswa na kudhalilishwa. Juzi juzi nusu bi mkubwa wangu aingie kishawishi pale mwenye duka alipomhusudu na kutaka kumhonga kibaba cha unga. Bahati mbaya alikataa.

Je, ni wangapi wanaanguka kwenye mtego huu wa Njaa Kaya? Kimsingi Njaa Kaya imetengenezwa na waroho wachache ili kuwaibia wapiga kura ya kula ambao huipiga ili wengine wale nao wakijiaminisha watakula wakati wataliwa na Njaa Kaya.

Wanaliwa kwa upuuzi kama kanga, gongo, vibandiko, muziki na hata ahadi hewa. Kwani mwenye njaa hana mwiko mara nyingi. Hana tofauti na kutu ambayo hula kila kitu ikipatacho. Njaa Kaya imetambaa kila mahali.

Si juu, si chini, si kwa wadogo wala wakubwa, si kwa viongozi wa dini wala nani. Njaa Kaya ni hatari usiambiwe. Heri hata ya miwaya maana kuna dawa za kuzuia magonjwa nyemelezi.

Ingawa wengi hawataki kukiri, kaya imejaa wavuta bangi, tena watu na heshima zao. Bila kuvuta bangi na kulewa unawezaje kula wewe, nyumba yako, marafiki zako, walamba viatu wako na hata nyumba ndogo huku wanakaya wakiteketea kwa njaa usihofu wala kumuogopa Mungu?

Bila kulewa unawezaje kukubali kugeuzwa kijiko ambacho huchota chakula kisile sawa na kupiga kula ya kura. Hebu kwa mfano jiulizeni. Ni kwanini walaji wa kaya wanatumia doshi nyingi kuliko kipato chake kama siyo uvutaji bangi na ulevi tena wenye madaraka miongoni mwa walevi?

Nimeamua kuongeza kuvuta bangi na kutangaza hadharani ili nikamatwe na kupelekwa lupango maana naambiwa wafungwa wanakula mara tatu kiasi cha wengine kuweza kusoma na kuondoka na madigrii. Ila mtakaotaka kuniigiza ‘think twice’. Maana ukiswekwa lupango shosto wako kama hana roho ngumu ndiyo usahau. Atahongwa ili kukimbia Njaa Kaya na mwisho wa yote muishie kuikwaa miwaya. Pia Lupango kuna kale ka mchezo ka kugeuzana. Kama wewe si kidume kama mimi ujue hilo.

Pia bangi zangu zinanituma kusema kuwa Njaa Kaya inasaidiwa na uroho, woga na upofu. Hebu vuta kidogo halafu ikubangue uone utakavyowachenjia wanaokula. Ukivuta huwezi kufungwa kamba za kupelekwa peponi wakati ni wa motoni.

Lazima uwe na mapepo kuahidi na kuahidiwa pepo wakati mwisho wa yote unakumbana na Njaa Kaya. Bahati mbaya hata wa kuyapunga hayo mapepo hayupo kutokana na shetani kuvamia nyumba za Godi. Tuliowategemea wamegeuzwa mbwa na walamba viatu kutokana na Njaa Kaya.

Jiulize. Wale waliolipiwa matibabu ughaibuni wameishi wapi zaidi ya kuliwa na Njaa Kaya?

Pia katika utafiti wangu wa kibangi bangi nimegundua kuwa ujambazi uwe wa bunduki au peni utaongezeka kipindi hiki. Utashindwaje kuongezeka iwapo kila mtu ni jambazi kwa nafasi na namna yake?

Msijesema nawatukana wateule kusema kila mtu ni jambazi. Ujambazi ni ile hali ya kuiba au kupora haki au mali ya mwingine finishi. Je, hili halifanyiki hadharani, tena likiungwa mkono na kupendwa? Nani anaongelea ujambazi wa HEPA au Kagodoka ukiachia mbali ule wa Richimondu uliohalalishwa hivi karibuni?

Kilichonichekesha ni kumsikia Six akitapatapa kuwa ataendelea kupambana na ujambazi wakati yuko kitanda kimoja na majambawazi! Ni jibwa gani kibogoyo linaweza kumng’ata mtu? Kweli Njaa Kaya hatari!

Katika utafiti wangu nimeibuka na mikakati madhubuti ya kukomesha Njaa Kaya. Nimegundua kuwa nikifanya yafuatayo nitashinda na kuwakomboa walevi:

Mosi, nitavuta bangi na kunywa sana ili nipate ithibati ya kuandika na kuyatangaza haya ninayoandika.

Pili, nitapayuka kama sina akili nzuri hadi kieleweke. Sitakuwa kama akina Six. Nina ithibati na mapenzi ya kweli kwa kaya yangu.

Tatu, nitaanza kuwawinda wanaoshiba matumboni na kufa kwa njaa ya ubongo ili ama ziwe zangu ama zao. Hapa ndipo kitabu cha SAA YA UKOMBOZI kilipojichimbia.

Nne, kuwahamasisha walevi kutowaamini walioshiba. Maana mwenye njaa amjua mwenye shibe ingawa mwenye shibe hamjui mwenye njaa. Kwa vile wote wana njaa japo hawajui, nitaendelea kuwajulisha bila kuchoka.

Tano, nitawaumbua warongo na waimbaji wa ngojera na sanaa nyingine.

Sita, kuwasaka na kuwazomea wenye vitambi na tabasamu wakisikia urongo na kejeli za ukombozi wakati wao ndio kikwazo kikuu. Lazima waeleze siri ya mafanikio yao ambayo ni maangamizi yetu tunaoteswa na Njaa Kaya.

Naona ndata wanakuja. Acha nikitoe kabla hawajanitia mikononi. Saa ya ukombozi ni sasa. Bangi nibangue nipambane na Njaa Kaya.

Kitabu cha “Saa Ya Ukombozi"


Kwa muda mrefu, wasomaji wangu -niliowataarifu kuwa nimetunga kitabu cha “Saa Ya Ukombozi-”, wamekuwa wakiulizia, kwa shauku, lini kingetoka.

Kwanza, niwaombe msamaha kwa kuchelewa kutoka. Pia niwashukuru kwa subira yenu. Yote ni kutokana na sababu ambazo ziko juu ya uwezo wangu.

Nikiri kabisa. Nilitoa taarifa ya ujio wa kitabu hiki nilipopata mchapishaji wa kwanza aliyeishia kuwa tapeli aliyekuwa akitaka dola zaidi ya kuchapisha kitabu bila kufanya hivyo. Nadhani roho itamsuta.

Kwa vile kitabu ki’shatoka, haya ya kusahau. Tuenga na kusonga mbele.

Nichukue fursa hii, rasmi, kuwataarifu watu waliokuwa tayari kunisaidia kukisoma na kukipitia kitabu pindipo kikitoka. Hawa ni Profesa Issa Shivji, Jenerali Ulimwengu na padre Privatus Karugendo aliyenitambulisha kwa mchapishaji. Maskini hatujawahi hata kuonana!

Je “Saa Ya Ukombozi” kinahusu nini, kimechapishwa na nani na wapi? Kimechapishwa na Tanzania Education Publisher Limited (TEPU) ya Bukoba Kagera na kupewa namba ya ithibati ISBN 978 9987 07 039 8.

Kitabu hiki, kama lilivyo jina lake, ni riwaya inayoelezea maisha ya wananchi wa nchi ya Mizengwe; nchi iliyozungukwa na kutekwa na mizengwe karibu katika Nyanja zote za maisha.

Nchi ya Mizengwe ni ya kubuni japo inashabihiana sana na nchi nyingi barani Afrika kwa mengi. Hata sera zake za ubinafsishaji uliozaa ufisi, ufisadi na ubinafsi zinafanana. Hata watu wake wanalandana sana japo ni wa kufikirika.

Kutokana na nchi ya Mizengwe kutawaliwa kwa mizengwe, wananchi wa kawaida walijikuta kwenye utumwa uliozaliwa na kile walichopigania wakidhani ni uhuru kumbe Udhuru! Wanakijiji wa Githakwa hawakuona mantiki ya kuwa mashahidi wa maangamizi yao tena ukitumika ‘uhuru’ uliogeuka udhuru walioumwagia damu kwa miaka mingi.

Wanakijiji cha Githakwa, kijiji kilichogundulika kuwa na vito vya thamani visivyopatikana kokote isipokuwa Githakwa wanajikuta wakiuzwa bila wao hata serikali kuu kujua! Mbunge wao, Harry mtoto wa mpishi wa zamani wa wakoloni na msaliti Livingstone Kupata, anawauza kwa mwekezaji wa kizungu Glutton Sucker mwenye kampuni la Get Rich in Goon’s World Co (GRGW) kwa kushirikiana na mkuu wa mkuu wa wilaya Mrongo Kumbakumba, mkuu wa mkoa, Gibbons Dikupatile na waziri wa fedha ambaye ni shemeji yake Harry baada ya kupewa chao -ten percent- ambayo imegeuka muuaji mkuu wa chumi za nchi nyingi na watu wake.

Vyombo vya habari vinalipua ‘bomu’ kiasi cha rais aliyekuwapo ziarani ughaibuni akitumbua kustuka na kujaribu kuchukua hatua asiweze. Kwani ushindi wa wanakijiji unageuka chachu ya kuanguka kwa utawala mbovu wa Mizengwe. Kwa mara ya kwanza, mapinduzi ya kulikomboa taifa yanaanzia kijijini na kusambaa nchi nzima na hatimaye kuangusha serikali chafu na chovu kwa amani kupitia sanduku la kura.

Kwa ufupi, riwaya hii inaudurusu na kuzulu uhuru na dhima nzima ya kuwa huru. Inaona shaka na uhuru wa baadhi ya nchi barani Afrika unaowanufaisha watawala waliojigeuza miungu pamwe na walamba viatu wao. Watu wa kawaida hawaruhusiwi kutia mkono kwenye deste nao wale halua!

Riwaya inahimiza umma kushika hatamu. Inashadidisha umma uutathimini na kuuhoji upya uhuru wanaoambiwa ni wao wakati si wao. Katika kufanikisha hili, tofauti na mapambano ya mtutu wa bunduki, mauaji na ghasia, riwaya hii inawahimiza waathirika waishio kwa matumaini kuupigania na kuupata uhuru wa kweli kupitia kwenye sanduku la kura.

Riwaya inahimiza watawaliwa kuhakikisha wanawawajibisha watawala kama sehemu ya uwajibikaji wao. Kila mmoja awajibike kwa mwenzake. Inawataka watawala wawatumikie watawaliwa badala ya kuwatumia kama punda wa kuwabeba wao na mizigo yao.

Riwaya inapinga ufisi, ukuku, umbwa, ukondoo, usindano, ukijiko na tabia nyingine kama hizo; inashajihisha usimba, umizani na utambuzi, utendaji na ulinzi wa haki.

Hapo ndipo utamwona mhusika mkuu, Mzee Njema, akipambana na uongozi mbovu kuanzia kijijini mwake hadi wilaya na,hatimaye, taifa. Cheche ya shujaa inawasha moto unaouamsha na kuukengeua umma kiasi cha kuangusha serikali dhalimu ya Mizengwe kupitia sanduku la kura.

Riwaya hii ni onyo na karipio kwa tawala zote zandiki na fisidi kubadilika na kuacha kufanya mambo kwa mazoea. Business as usual kwenye kulea na kufuga ufisadi na unyonyaji wa wananchi wa kawaida inapaswa kumalizwa na wananchi wenye bila kutegemea mjomba au nani.

Ukiachia dhana nzima ya ukombozi kisiasa, kuna changamoto ya kujikomboa kijamii hasa kimila. Hii nayo imechukua sura maalum kwenye kitabu ambapo watoto wawili wa mzee Kupata, mmoja ameoa mzungu na mwingine kuolewa na mzungu. Wazungu hawa wameleta kizunguzungu kutokana na matendo yao huku na wanakijiji wakiwaacha wazungu hoi kutokana na maisha yao ambapo wazungu wanawashangaa kulala na mbuzi nyumba moja wakati wao wanalala na kula na mbwa!

Somo kuu la riwaya hii ni kufanya maasi na mapambano matakatifu kwa njia ya amani. Ni fundisho kuwa, kama kura ikitumika vilivyo, inaweza kumkomboa mpiga kura. Hivyo basi, kama mzee Njema na wanakijiji, inatubidi kusimama kidete kulinda uhuru, haki, raslimali na taifa letu kwa ujumla badala ya kulia lia na kulalamika.

Hakuna njia muafaka na mujarabu kama kutumia vizuri kura yako wewe mpiga kura. Hakuna ukombozi kamili kama kushiriki mchakato mzima wa kuendesha na kufaidi nchi yako wewe mwananchi. Hii yote inawezekana pasipo woga wala kukubali kuhongwa, kuburuzwa na kugeuzwa mnyonge wa kunyongwa.

Kama wanakijiji wameweza kwanini taifa lisiweze? SAA YA UKOMBOZI NI SASA NA MKOMBOZI NI WEWE UNAYENYONYWA.

Dokezo, baada ya “Saa Ya Ukombozi”, jiandae kupata “Nyuma Ya Pazia” ambapo nchi ya Mafuriko iliyofurika neema imegeuka kuwa mafuriko ya nakama na zahama huku ikiraruriwa nyuma ya pazia na watawala mafisi itadurusiwa vilivyo na kiini cha ufisadi kufichuliwa baada ya kutimliwa waziri mkubwa Edmond Mpendamali Mwaluwasha. BAE’s admission warrants suing, pronto

REPORTS that finally the British defence company BAE systems has admitted to have corrupted our officials to award it a tender of supplying Tanzania a military radar (Plessey Commander Fighter Control System), is a very welcome-cum-challenge to our accountability as a nation.

In the UK, the SFO agreed to accept £30m from BAE and an admission to accounting irregularities in respect of their 2002 deal with Tanzania, which has long been dogged by accusations of bribery. Clare Short, who was the UK’s International Development Secretary at the time, says that the deal “stank” of corruption.

Among corrupt officials openly mentioned by BAE in this scam is former AG Andrew Chenge who is alleged to have stashed away $1m as his cut from the dubious deal. Another implicated supremo is the former BoT Governor, Dr. Idris Rashid, who with Chenge have not denied or admitted wrong doings.

This breakthrough, if anything, hammers the last nail in whatever lies that have been created regarding prosecuting suspects. What else do we need or want to finally bring suspects to book? Many people are anxiously waiting to see what the authorities will come up with as an excuse after a long time of heel dragging and whitewashing.

In law, once admission is entered, it warrants conviction ab initio. BAE systems has already been convicted on the strength of its admission. What about our bigwigs? What are we waiting for? Mark my words, once a man is convicted on the strength of admission, he has no legal rights to appeal. So one can see how serious admission is. And by admitting to have committed the crime, BAE systems implicated its co-conspirators and this makes the prosecution case easy and direct.

Therefore, it is right time to advise the DPP to avoid languishing on ping pongs because this time it won’t add up. It is time for us to truly behave sanely and maturely.

We know the alleged sharks are connected to and have influence in upper echelons of power thanks to the offices they once served, abused and ruined. But again, will our people subscribe to any buffoonery after the admission by BAE systems? What a challenge to all of us and especially our numero uno! Will he take the bull by horns or maintain technical know whom and other braggadocios?
