If He Were Alive He'd Have Been 97

April 13, 1922 is the day the late father of nation Mwl Julius kambarage Nyerere was born. Due to the exceptional and exemplary work he did not only for Tanzania but the world at large, we always miss and remember him. Though he is not physically with us, he will forever be with us spiritually. Thus, commemorating his birthday is but a little we can offer to him and his family. Had he been alive, Mwl Nyerere would have been 97 years old this week. Nyerere died aged 77 years 20 years ago. Despite that, Nyerere has always remained in our heart as the leader who ruled Tanzania accountably and diligently. his Ujamaa philosophy is still relevant for delivering justice and emancipating all those who are still under colonial situations of whatever type.
