AFRICA DAY THAT REFUSED TO BE REUNITED

Image result for photos of african union              Today is ceremonial and white elephant African Day.  It is on this day on 25 May, 1963  postcolonial African leaders formed the then Organisation of African Unity (OAU) later African Union (AU) with the sole aim of reuniting Africa to the tune it was up until 1884 when colonial monsters at the Berlin Conference chopped Africa and divided into feeble, small and useless states that Africa has today.
The dream of reunifying Africa has since died. In its place there has been ongoing chimerical regionalisations that have kept Africa divided for its peril thanks to having myopic and selfish rulers who refused to learn from their history. Africa has continuously  cascaded to beggarliness,  Haplessness, hopelessness and miseries simply because it failed to decolonise itself by being reunified so as to have a strong voice internationally.
So, today there is nothing for Africa to celebrate shall it remain divided as it has been since it was unlawfully and maliciously divided by colonisers in order to weaken it for its perpetual exploitation.
