Inter-ethnic marriages are rare in Kenya. But recently, young people have challenged this anomaly by crossing tribal, regional and whatever borders so as to marry whom they love but not from the community they belong to. Call it bastardization or hybridization. It does work. This, essentially is what Tanzania did over 50 years ago.
