A dirge for Mwanawasa.

Former President of Zambia, Patrick Levy Mwanawasa is no more. He died on 19 August in Paris where he was admitted suffering from a stroke.

The whole world is saddened and grieved for this great loss. Africa has lost a true son of hers. One thing is evident. Mwanawasa was an icon when it comes to fighting graft.
To emulate and remember him, Africans as a society must hate and fight graft at all levels. Mwanawasa died young by African standards. Young generation needs to put in mind that, by emulating him, they can stand up and fight for their rights.
Currently, Africa is laden with corrupt imps we wrongly call presidents. Let's give them hard time to see to it that it becomes difficult for them to govern and steal from us.
To get a glimpse on who Mwanawasa actually was, here are his own words admitting some failures: "It has not been possible to reduce poverty and I feel sad about it," Levy Mwanawasa said, describing the issue as "one of my failures".
Such words need a big heart that Mwanawasa had. How many African potentates can openly utter such words? Take a leaf.

May God reward Levy Mwanawasa.
My condolences to Zambians and all peace lovers all over the world.
Mwanawasa, we, indeed, shall miss you badly.
Nkwazi N Mhango.

Oh! Yes! I've heard the good stuff this guy did back in the days.
But as history proves and will continue to prove: "Man has dominated man to his injury".
