Morsi saw it coming but didn't get it

This blog wrote yesterday that former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi's regime was on its way out of power. We called what was going on an endgame. This is after the army threatened to take unspecified measures.Interestingly Morsi was under simulacrum or optical illusion so as not to see it coming. The army issued a 48 hour ultimatum that was flatly ignored by Morsi for his peril. Now that Morsi is history after the army toppled him, will Egyptians go home and rest leaving their hard-earned democracy in the hands of the junta? Will demonstrators feel at home by being part and parcel that has overthrown a democratically elected government? Will they be at home with the act of putting power in the hands of the military regime? Is this the end of struggles in Egypt or the beginning of yet another standoff?  After deposing Morsi, the army appointed the Chief Justice of the Constitution Court, Adly Mansour to become an interim president who will preside over elections. A  million-dollar question is: Is this the marriage of the Judiciary and the Army or gimmicks? The constitution was suspended and Morsi was said to be held in Luxor. Again, many still doubt the integrity of the army that has for long played the role of king maker. Others are blaming Muslim Brotherhood that backed Morsi for their role in bringing him down due to their hardheadedness. Also the fragmented opposition is not spared. Many see it as another puppet that enabled the army to regain power it lost after a stint soon after the first revolution. A bitter lesson for African potentates.  Is the deposing of Morsi the beginning of the end of Sudanese  strong man Omar Bashir and others in the Middle East and Africa South of Sahara? Morsi saw it coming but he did not accept it.
