Dear Eddie,

I must admit.  Though I don’t agree with you, I admire and envy your courage of the mad. Eddie Lowassa, former big minister who’s purged due to partaking Richmoduli scam always leaves me in stitches whenever he opens up his month to speak. One boozer whom I love to hate said that Eddie talks as if all humans have lost memories. A la Ben Mkapa ametumwa huyu! Again, this is the guy who’s said to have engineered Richmond scandal. This nasty and stinking rip off scooped us of billions of dosh of lalahois. Again, after Lowassa’s shown the door, he became an outspoken politico.  Many still wonder. Why didn't you say what you’re saying today when you’re in ulaji? Wametumwa hawa. Who wants to see his dirty linens in the agora?  Though some fyatus say that this is double standard, sanaa or duping us so that we can award you ulaji come next general elections, my take’s that you’re always right. Who can be safer without either holding power in his hand or put his stooge in power? Ask Ben Mkapae. He saw to it that he mended fences with Jake in exchange of promise that he’d protect him as far as Kiwila and ANBEN are concerned. Even sheik Joseph Makamba made sure that his kitegemezi’s having power so as to protect his past. Don’t you see how Dewjie fought harder to have his Moody in Mjengo to man his past? Ironically, we’re told that this nappy boy is the only bill-on- air to have come from our always- begging hunk! Angekuwa billionaire wa kweli angehangaika na uhishimiwa uchwara?

Back to you Eddie, you’re recently quoted admonishing our rulers to stop fear and indifference.  You wanted them to act where he failed miserably!

I like you. You’re able to raise money for various projects even if the said money’s gotten illegally. There are those who believe that what you’re doing’s nothing but offering bribery to the voters. What have you to say about such denting allegations? Think twice. Is it wise and easy to jump a smoking gun? Dare not my friend.

 I adore your newly found “love” for our earthlings. Though the other day I heard one boozer asking why didn't you love them when you’re in power? I love your scheme of saying what you want us to hear in lieu of what you don’t want us to hear about yourself. Boozers would like to hear your defence about your role in money-siphoning allegations.

Let me ask you a few simple questions. Are you intending to run for presidency come 2015? If yeah, are you ready to tell us all you know about Richmonduli scam? Are you ready to tell us where you made this fortune you’re “kindly” donating every now and then? Why now not then?

More questions, will you please touch on allegations that you’re a rich guy who minted and printed wealth through corruption? Remember. I’m not the one alleging that you made your dosh illegally. Mwalimu Nyerere’s the one who made these allegations.  Why haven’t you ever been ready to talk about these allegations?

Bravo Eddie Lowassa for not calling it quits. You’ve always soldiered on to see to it that you get what you want even if doing so amount to a miracle. Again, my crystal ball tells me that you’ll get what you deserve sir.

One boozer sent me to ask you this: Do you really love to see us develop as a hunk? If yeah, why didn't your show your vision when you’re in ulaji? Is it true that you’re made a sacrificial lamb that’s why you've nary stopped complaining the same way you argued others to stop complain? Is complaining your exclusive domain? Remember? When you’re booted out you complained about not being afforded justice. You accused mzee wa viwango Mr Sam Sixx for not allowing you to mount your defence. Again, you’re given an option to weigh things and come up with the decision. And indeed, you did. You decided to hit the road. If anything, your noble decision’s misconstrued as avoiding seeing your dirty linens on the agora. Sir, can you tell the secret behind not being charge for the allegations you vividly and practically implied were true? Does this have to do with your strong, unique, and unshakable friendship with Jake Kiquette?

The other day I heard Joni Komba, the guy who naps Mjengoni saying you’re his choice of the next president. Did you send him to say such denting things?  When the guy who used to be singer said you’re the only and the one, I heard some boozers saying: “Hii ni kazi ya mitandao michafu namely this is the role of dirty networks, kwani pesa ya Muluzi haikumtosha?” Do you've any dirty network that you’ll employ in seeking power? If yeah, is this democratic or demonic?

Again, you’re saying just easily that you’re going to work on three strategies namely education, employment and infrastructure. Well done, where will you get the dosh if at all much of our dosh is stashed in offshore banks? Why haven’t you ever addressed this anathema for our hunk sir?

New constitution, theirs or ours?

Talking about power specifically people power, in her book, “Thinking Outside Ballot Box,” Brigitte DePage said that power is as fluid as the water in the lake. Nobody can stop water from going wherever it wants. The analogue is: Everybody’s aware of the power one possesses as far as running the business of the state is concerned. We heard of and read about many people in the world who brought about changes in their countries. These people are not made of steel and stones. They’re made of bones water and blood just like we’re made of. Again, why did they do that what we can’t do despite underscoring the immense power we've? Simple, they decided to truly say: “Enough is enough” knowingly that those who want to dupe and bulldoze them draw their artificial power from them through their consent, vote.

Coming to the hot debate we’re having currently vis a vis the New Draft Constitution that’s  pointlessly and dubiously doctored by Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), as Tanzanians, we, firstly, need to appreciate and employ the power we’ve shall we want to get the New Constitution we deserve. We must understand. Whatever comes out of what’s going on will reflect our way of doing things. Shall we sit aside and look; a few venal politicos with their personal vested interests will write the Constitution for us. However, this Constitution will be referred to as ours; practically, it won’t be ours but theirs. Who needs such injustice in the first place?

I heard people hugging Presider Jake Kiquette, pleading with him that he’d not concur with the doctored document he’s presented. While this was going on, it came to light that Kiquette had already appended his signature to the doctored bill. Thereafter, we witnessed sideshows whereby the presider dined and wined the opposition bigwigs. Again, what's the rationale of discussing what seems to be a raw done deal?  Opposition top dogs came out of the meeting all teeth out. Again, why moving goalposts in the eleventh hour if at all they are serious and focused? They said that their talks were encouraging? Suppose this becomes carrot dangling? Opposing politicos said that soon they’ll wise Kiquette about what’s to be done. Well done. Will he live up to his words and commitments to improving a doctored bill? Supposed he ignores all those noises and let the document stand as it is? Shall he do what we don’t want; we must stand in his way showing him that we’we've power that we can use to defend ourselves and our nation.

 If anything, applying people power's the only simplest and surest way of putting the current impasse to an end. Yes, we can' And we'd. It’s sad to note that since we gained our independence over fifty years down the line, we’re still languishing in abject poverty. We’re still evidencing our God-given natural resources being vended at a throwaway price. Yet still, we still allow ourselves to go cup in hand begging as if we’re not gifted with all these riches! This should be stopped at any cost shall we aspire to move forward as a hunk that belongs to all of us equally and equitably.

You don’t need to be a satyagrahi or a monk to stand against this naked injustice committed against your motherland. If you allow self-seekers to fool you they’ll do and you’ll regret later when you won’t have any way of alleviating the ills. The very question everybody must ask himself or herself is: Am I happy and satisfied with a doctored document they call my constitution to be? If the answer’s negative, then play your part by supporting those who want the paper be corrected before being made a law.

As I said above, people have power that can’t be stopped by tanks, guns, water cannons and whatnot. What’s needed is for the people to show their power by telling those who think have power that they’re not going to be the agents of injustice committed in their name. Instead of leaving the whole show to politicians, support them and dictate terms they'd present. Lend them your power so that you can get the constitution that you deservedly need and want. Show those who use your power that the power's yours. This is what true democracy's all about. It’s about those who decide to decide what they want to decide. Members of Parliaments who doctored the document did so for their own peril and interests. We'd not allow them to take us for a ride and get away with it. Our constitution is our future.

The most crucial question people need to ask themselves is: What type of constitution do I need and want between the one I've made and the doctored one?

In sum, it must be appreciated that we'll get the constitution we deserve depending on how we’re going to use our power. If we sit on it, we're done. If we show our power, truly, we’re safe. We need to do away from the misconception that activism's the venue for politicians and young people. Instead, activism's the venue for all of us as a people and as a nation. We need to stop their offal ASAP.

Please Zitto live up to your words

“You may fool all the people some of the time, you can even fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time,” Abraham Lincoln. Kigoma North MP Zitto Kabwe (CHADEMA) is at it again.

If anything, Lincoln wisdom is exactly what’s going on regarding Kabwe. If I got it right, I must say. Truly, politics is a dirty game in which all tricks in the book and gimmicks can work. Given that Kabwe didn’t repudiate such news it is true that he’s scheming about staying in the game. Interestingly, there are those who think he fooled all of us that he’d resign from active politics come 2015. He even fooled some before saying he’d serve one term in Mjengo. After testing the yum Yum and goodies of being one of the high and mighty in the hunk, he jumped a smoking gun. He’s in his second term contemplating to run for the third and possibly the fourth.

Now that time is too close to call for his pitch, Kabwe wants to fool some of us saying that he’s contemporizing about rescinding his promise. Why? He says that he found that people’s destitution in Igalula and Sikonge constituencies needs him to continue getting more dosh!  What’s he done to alleviate this destitution in the first place? Are people in Kabwe’s constituency more affluent than those in Igunga and Sikonge he says he’s concerned about?  Methinks people abject poverty is a sign that he did not deliver. Is Kabwe using the same deceit many politicians use saying that “people wanted me to run?” ask them to mention or show you those people wanting them to run. They’ll start giving you hoo- has and all sort of lies.

 I’ve no dispute with Kabwe’s itch for more ulaji.  Why doesn't he expressly say so instead of gallivanting and mooching for the love for people he had nary loved? Again, why jabbering instead of keeping mum and eating your dosh sir?  Is it easier said than done? Is it another trick of gaining popularity or what? Point to note, people look for what’s been left out but not what one says he or she has done.

Seriously, I must admit. I admire Kabwe hugely especially for his courage of the mad. Looking at how he backed Kafulila as opposed to his party’s stance, it needed the courage of the mad so to speak. Again, he proved that he backs the winning horse. The other day Kabwe showed his political clout is when he accompanied President Jakaya Kikwete in various trips abroad. He didn’t bother with the fact that his party has always opposed Kikwete globetrotting malady.

Opposition as well as detractors have always blamed president Jakaya Kikwete for not living up to his promise of bring better life for all. Let’s now turn tables against those who condemn Kikwete for not living up to his word but act exactly like him--- not living up to their words.  The golden rule has it: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Again, politicians’ safest and strongest weapon is integrity. When integrity is amiss or shaky, count yourself as a political cadaver.  It doesn't take long for the constituency to unearth whatever public myth you’ve always employed to get away with it. Kabwe reminds me of his promise to name names of those who stashed our dosh in Swiss Banks. Sadly though, the man has always played ping pong as far as naming names is concerned. Tukueleweje mheshimiwa?

Moreover, sometimes abaft Kabwe became a threat not only to the ruling party but also his own party. It’s when he started eyeing presidency. He didn't only eye the presidency but also party’s ticket. Again, wise men sat down and put the jinie back to the bottle. Now that Kabwe wants more of representation of the wretched of the earth, such a move can’t be treated as happenstance or love of the people but love of oneself by using people. If I’d give you a nugget of wisdom, I’d strong say: Please Zitto live up to your words. Retire from active politics as you willingly and openly promised.  Failure to do so everything good you did ends up becoming zilch. Thus, let others try where you failed. There are many out there who can do better than you did. If anything, this is true democracy whereby one allows others to try where he failed.

EAC: Will COW Mend Fences or Drive On?

Recent reports that former Kenya’s PM Raila Odinga offered to mediate in the ongoing impasse in the East African Community can’t be ignored. As a patriot per excellence, his move is commendable save it is too late. If it’s still workable, Odinga needs to mediate Kenya before anybody else. His policies about land redistribution and restructuring during the March General Elections would have tackled what makes Tanzania sick. Sadly though, Kenyans did not get it. Will they get it this time?  Will he succeed given that this impasse involves structural and hype-sensitive issues?

Odinga and those sending him should underscore the following:

First, instead of looking at Tanzania as a reluctant partner and an obstacle presumably, we need to look at the reasons that make Tanzania so. Frankly speaking, land’s a thorny issue that other countries in the so-called Coalition of Willing (COW) chose to ignore pointlessly. Tanzania President Jakaya Kikwete’s recently quoted as saying when he addressed the parliament that Tanzania’s there to stay.  Was he serious?  Looking at “divorce threats” his ministers Bernard Member (Foreign Affair and International Relations) and Samuel Sitta (EAC affairs) have been issuing, politics aside, Tanzania‘s already exited the EAC. What are left are only formalities. If anything, what’s left is politics. Let’s face it. How can Tanzania openly admit to have ventured in Burundi-DRC-Tanzania Community (BDTC as a quid pro quo to COW) and still be in the EAC?

Again, if Odinga wants to help the EAC, he’d deal with the harmonization of land laws, land use and redistribution of land in Kenya first before jumping on EAC-Tanzania impasse. So too, he’d face Yoweri Museveni and tell him to embrace reasonable and practical democracy. Thereafter, he’d go to Kigali and tell Paul Kagame the same. Will he?

Secondly, Odinga must appreciate the fact that Tanzania isn't happy seeing Kenyan leaders sit on big parcels of land while most of their people are landless. Hither Odinga should face Uhuru Kenyatta and tell him to relinquish the land his family sits on.

Tanzania knows too well how President Kenyatta and his family own the land hyped to be as big as Nyanza Province. If this is true, it’s totally unfair. Tanzania would like to see Kenyatta relinquish this land so that landless Kenyans would own and make use of it. If this be done, verily, the remaining number of landless “East Africans” can be accommodated by Tanzania, the only country with vast land comparably. Tanzania occupies 52% of the whole East Africa area.

Third, leaders in Tanzania don’t decide how to go about EAC’s business without the consent of the people. According to Kikwete, 74.4% of Tanzanians favour EAC. Again, when it comes to fast tracking the EAC, it‘s only 25.4% that supports it. So you can openly see. Arguably, the problem is not whether Tanzania should join the EAC or not but how should it be done.

Kikwete openly shows where the contention is lies. He’s quoted as saying, “In my view, our stand on issues such as land, employment and immigration, sometimes, make others have wrong views about us.” If the problem’s clearly stated why should we beat around the bush instead of taking on it?

More importantly as Tanzania is concerned, there are some other issues that need to be ironed out. For example, Rwanda and Uganda had nary embraced true democracy. How do you unify such countries without solving such problems? Who has power legally to decide the form and time of the unification between the people and their rulers?  We need to learn from Uganda under Idd Amin.  Evidently, Amin’s maltreatments of Ugandans forced Mwalimu Julius Nyerere to openly step up the efforts to dispose Amin something Nyerere did in 1978. What is going on in Rwanda and Uganda especially allegations that they’re destabilizing DRC has forced Tanzania to act to the extent that there is news of thinking about cobbling EAC-like unity? Odinga noted on this saying, “Kenya and the rest of EAC stand to suffer immensely economically if Tanzania were to team up with DRC and Burundi in another union.” DRC and Tanzania know this too well and they’re working on their own COW.  Essentially, Odinga seems to heed Benjamin Franklin’s nugget of wisdom when he said, “We must all hang together or assuredly we shall hang separately.” We’d truly decide to hang together or separated but there’s no way we can do both. 

There’s another sensitive issue. Tanzania sent soldiers to DRC where Rwanda and Uganda are openly accused by the international community of backing the M23 rebels in DRC that were flashed out recently. Tanzania’s move culminated into the surfacing of bad blood between Kikwete and Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame. So too, refer to a recent report by UN experts that water tightly implicated Rwanda of her bully behaviour in DRC. By sending troops to DRC, Tanzania’s wrongly regarded as going against other EAC countries. But again, Tanzania went to DRC under the auspice of UN. Ironically, Tanzania’d nary contributed any contingent to Somalia despite being the victim of piracy.

To cut a long story short, the Coalition Of Willing (COW) needs to be disbanded before thinking about mediating Tanzania and COW. Looking at the look at the things, if COW does not agree to put its house in order, chances are that the existing impasse’ll grow even larger.

Rais atupe ulinzi badala ya rambirambi na kuhudhuria mazishi kila mara

Hakuna ubishi kuwa rais Jakaya Kikwete ataingia kwenye vitabu vya historia kama rais aliyehudhuria misiba na maziko mengi kuliko waliomtangulia. Kwa juu juu hili linaweza kuchukuliwa kuwa ni mapenzi na kuwajali watanzania. Kwa undani, rais anapaswa kutupiwa lawama za kuwa legelege kwenye kupambana na ujambazi, ufisadi, mihadarati na jinai nyingine zinaua watanzania wengi. Blog hii  pamoja na kutoa salamu za rambirambi kwa familia ya marehemu Sengondo Mvungi, inamtaka rais Kikwete aache kushabikia misiba. Badala yake awahakikishie watanzania ulinzi.

Kurejesha fedha nje wananchi tujilaumu

HIVI  karibuni mbunge wa Kigoma Kaskazini Zitto Kabwe ameonyesha njia kwa kushikilia bango mabilioni ya shilingi yaliyofichwa kwenye mabenki ya Uswiss wakati Serikali ikijifanya haihusiki.
Kama jamii na wananchi waathirika tunapaswa kuunga mkono juhudi za kufichua, kuumbua na kushughulikia walioiba pesa yetu na kuificha nje ya nchi. Hii pesa ni yetu hata kama hatutaki kuliona hili hivyo.
Wizi wa namna hii ndicho chanzo cha umaskini wetu. Kwani wezi wahusika wanaiba kodi na misaada yetu na kutufanya maskini. Bila wananchi kuamka na kutaka hatua zichukuliwe, tutaishia kwenye siasa kama zile tunazoshuhudia kuhusiana na wauza unga, mafisadi na sasa majambazi wa kimataifa.
Tuliambiwa kuwa bunge liliunda kikosi cha kuchunguza tuhuma hizi na kuleta majibu kwa bunge. Muda uliowekwa umepita na hakuna anayeuliza wala kuudhika kuwa bunge limedanganywa, taifa limedanganywa na uongo unaendelea. Je nini mantiki ya kuwa na serikali? Serikali ipo madarakani si kwa sababu inapenda kuwa madarakani. Ipo madarakani kwa ridhaa na uwakilishi wa wananchi.
Pia inashangaza kusikia kuwa tumeshikia bango kwa pesa iliyofichwa Uswiss wakati kuna nchi nyingine pia ambazo ni kimbilio la wezi wetu. je ina maana serikali pamoja na asasi zake za kiusalama haikujua wizi huu hadi waswizi wataje?
Je nchi ambazo hazijataja zitanyamaziwa ili pesa yetu iendelee kuhamishwa toka Uswiss kwenda kule? Nchi zinazotajwa ni Dubai, Mauritius, Uingereza, Cayman Island. Siamini kama ni hizi nchi pekee. Kuna uwezekano zikawapo nyingine nyingi. Hili ni jukumu la vyombo vyetu vya usalama kulishughulikia na kutuletea taarifa sahihi na za uhakika.
Kwa upande mwingine wananchi ndiyo wenye nchi na hata serikali ingawa wamejigeuza watazamaji huku pesa na mali zao vikiteketea kana kwamba hawaathiriki. Je tatizo ni ujinga au woga? Kwa faida ya nani?
Je serikali isiyowajibika wala kuwatumikia wananchi kweli ina mamlaka na uhalali wa kuendelea kuwa madarakani? Je hayo mabilioni ya shilingi yangejenga viwanda vingapi au kujenga barabara na shule na hospitali ngapi? Je kweli sisi ni maskini au ni maskini wa kujitakia kutokana na ukimya wa wananchi kujifanya wizi wa pesa yao hauwahusu?
Hivi karibuni Kabwe alikaririwa akisema kuwa mamlaka za Uswiss zimebadili hata sheria ili kusaidia nchi athirika ziweze kurejesha pesa iliyoibiwa. Ajabu pamoja na nchi tajiri kama Uswizi kutuonea huruma kama nchi maskini, viongozi na serikali zetu zimekataa kutumia sheria hii iliyorekebishwa kurejesha pesa hii. Kwanini? Je wahusika ni miongoni mwa walioficha pesa nje?
Ingawa hajaionei huruma, huwa namuonea rais wetu kwenda kila uchao nje kapu mkononi akiomba jambo ambalo ni aibu kwake na kwa taifa lenye kuweza kuwa mshipa wa kunyamazia pesa iliyoibwa kwa mabilioni na kufichwa nje. Je rais ananufaika vipi na kadhia hii? Ni hiyo per diem anayolipwa anapokwenda kuomba wakati akipuuzia pesa kwa mabilioni iliyofichwa nje ikiwasaidia watu wa nje tena matajiri?
Kwanini rais hatambui kuwa hii pesa inayoibiwa ni kodi ya muuza vitumbua, karanga, machinga, mkulima na mfanyakazi mdogo ambaye amepigika kimaisha.  Je huyu rais yupo kweli kwa maslahi ya huyu mwananchi wa chini au mafisadi?
Sambamba na Kabwe, Kila mara serikali kupitia waziri wa fedha wamekuwa wakitwambia kuwa kurejesha fedha zilizofichwa nje kunawezekana kutokana na kuwepo sheria za kufanya hivyo.
Je tatizo ni nini kama sheria hazitumiki? Hivi karibuni waziri wa fedha Dk William Mgimwa alikaririwa akisema, “Lengo la sheria hizi za kimataifa ni kuhakikisha kuwa fedha za wizi zinazoibwa nchi fulani, haziwezi kuhifadhiwa katika nchi nyingine.”
Kumbe waziri anajua kila kitu ila anakosa utashi wa kuzitumia sheria husika kurejesha pesa yetu? Sijui kama nafsi yake haimsuti kusema haya aliyosema na kutenda tofauti na inavyopaswa kuwa.  Naye rais wa Uswiss Maya Graf alisema, “Serikali ya Tanzania inatakiwa kuweka mkakati wa kisheria utakaotengeneza mazingira ya kubadilishana taarifa za fedha na mataifa mengine. Kwa jambo hilo hata Serikali ya Uswisi inaweza kusaidia katika kupatikana kwa fedha zilizofichwa.”
Kwanini kuwaangusha wananchi wetu ambao licha ya kujifunga mikanda wanachapa kazi kwa moyo wote ili wajikwamue?
Je wataweza kujikwamua wakati serikali yao inawaangusha kwa kuwanyamazia majambazi walioficha pesa nje? Kuna haja ya wananchi kutoka kwenye usingizi na kuamka na kuibana serikali iwatendee haki kwa kupambana na ujambazi na ufisadi ambavyo vimeweka mazingira mazuri kwa kikundi kidogo cha wezi kutugeuza shamba la bibi.
Kuna kipindi mtu akiangalia yanayotendwa na mamlaka zetu hasa wizara ya fedha anakosa mantiki ya kuwa na wizara na mamlaka husika. Nikikumbuka sakata la Richmond, EPA, Kagoda na kashfa nyingine zilivyomalizwa kijinai na benki, nakosa mantiki ya kuwa na wizara hii. Utakuta pesa hiyo pesa kwenye kashfa tajwa hapo juu iko inawanufaisha wazungu matajiri kule Uswiss huku walioizalisha yaani wakulima na watu hohehahe wanateseka.
Kama haitoshi likija suala la misamaha ya kodi kwa makampuni matajiri utaigusa hiyo hiyo wizara ya fedha. Kwanini tusiifute tukaumia na kujua kuwa hakuna wizara husika? Kuendelea kuwa na mamlaka zinazosaidiana na wezi ni sawa na kisa cha mfugaji wa kuku aliyefunga mbwa kupambana na vicheche waliokuwa wakimwibia kuku.
Mkulima aliamua kumnyonga yule mbwa baada ya kugundua kuwa kumbe kazi yake ilikuwa ni kula vifaranga na kuwaacha vicheche wakamate vifaranga watakavyo. Kwanini wananchi wanajiruhusu kuwa kama huyu mkulima mpumbavu wasiitwe wapumbavu? Je wananchi hawajui kuwa pesa inayoibiwa na madaraka yanayotumika kuwalinda na kuwapuuzia wezi wao ni yao waliyokasimu kwa serikali?
Tuhitimishe kwa kusema kuwa wananchi wanapaswa kulaumiwa sambamba na serikali na wezi wa pesa iliyofichwa Uswiss tokana na ukimya wao na kujifanya hayawahusu. Pia tunamshauri waziri wa fedha na asasi husika zijaribu kusoma alama za nyakati.

Mlevi azimia wachina kuuza ndimu na vitunguu!

 

Kwa vile huku ughaibuni huwezi kutajirika wala kuukata kupitia wizi au ujanja na jinai nyingine, lazima nirudi home. Huku kila mtu anachopata au kutumia lazima aeleze umepata vipi. Kuna sheria ya kutaja mali inayowahusu wote bila kujali wadhifa wala nini. Huku kuwajibika maana yake ni kuwajibiki si kuwajibisha wengine wakati wewe huwajibiki. Huku hakuna unafiki, siasa wala ushenzi wa better than thou yaani mie bora kuliko wengine kama huko.

 Viongozi wanataja mali zao kila siku. Si kama huko ambako wanene huwahimiza walevi kutaja mali zao wakati wao wakificha zao. Si kama huko ambako wanene wanakula kodi za walevi wakati wao hawalipi kodi hata kama wanapokea mishahara ya mamilioni ya njuluku. Huku ujambazi, kama vile kukwepa kodi, kuuza bwimbwi au kuiibia umma haulipi zaidi ya kumuozesha mwizi lupango hata awe mkubwa na mhishimiwa vipi. Huku uongozi na uhishimiwa ni utumishi kwa umma na si kuuma umma kama ilivyo huko.

Baada ya wachina wauza vitungu na ndimu kukamatwa na vipande lukuki vya meno ya tembo, mlevi nimeanza kusukuti kurejea Bongolalaland al maaruf kama shamba la chizi ili kuzichanga njuluku. Ninapanga mambo makubwa.

Kwanza, sikujua kuwa Bongo inaagiza vitunguu swaumu kutoka uchina wakati huko Lushoto na mikoani vinaoza kwa kukosa soko.  Nilizoea kuwaona wachina wakijitoa kimasomaso na kuimba taarabu ya kimasomaso na kusoma magazeti ya Kiswahili. Sikujua kuwa hali inatisha kiasi hiki. Kumbe tuna India nyingine nchini!

Je wanene wetu watajenga majumba mengine ya msajili kuwaweka watu hawa wasiopenda kuchanganyikana ili kulinda biashara zao haramu au tutegemee African-China towns soon? Kumbe waliosema kuwa operesheni kimbunga ipo kwa ajili ya wachovu hawakukosea. Inakuwaje hawa wauza vitunguu na ndimu wajikite kwenye kaya yetu hadi kuweza kupata fursa ya kukusanya shehena kubwa kama hii bila kula na wakubwa? Je kwanini kago hii bab kubwa imekamatwa baada ya kuwepo kwa tishio la kumng’aoa waziri mhusika? Je ni ajali tu ya kimatukio au msuko wa matukio?

Haya ya wachina na kufanya umachinga au wahindi kukalia Msajili wa Majumba peke yao nawaachia wao walioyaruhusu bila kujua madhara yake. Ila siku moja watajuta baada ya kujikuta wakimtoa jini kwenye chupa wasijue jinsi ya kumrejesha.

Kutokana na uhalifu kulipa kwenye kaya hii iliyogeuzwa shamba la chizi, mlevi nina mpango kamambe wa kurejea ili nitengeze ukwasi nami niitwe mtu. Nitaingia na mipango ifuatayo:

Mosi, nitauza pembe za ndovu na faru bila kujali kuwa vizazi vijavyo vitaadhirika. Kama wazito wanahusika na biashara hii kama ilivyodaiwa hivi karibuni kuwa na wahishimiwa wamo, mie njjali ni nani?

Pili, nitauza unga hasa ikizingatiwa kuwa wauza unga wanaogopwa kama ukoma kayani kwetu. Rejea mkuu alivyogwaya kuwataja huku waziri wake Dokta Harry Mwakiwembe akijitia kimbelembele asijue anacheza na mtandao wa akina na nani na bab kubwa kiasi gani. Si ameishia kujichafua na kujishaua shaua baadaye akanywea. Nitaanzisha kiwanda cha kutengeneza madawa kama yule jambazi aitwaye Ramazani Madabidabida anayedaiwa kuuza mhidarati lakini haguswi kwa vile ni kada wa chama nonihino. Je tunao Madabidadabiba wangapi kayani wakijificha nyuma ya chama twawala?

Tatu, nitakwepa kodi kama wenye nazo wanavyofanya. Kama nitaagiza mikangafu ya magari toka Dubai, nitahakikisha napata msamaha wa kodi.

Nne, nitaunda genge la ujambazi ili kuvunja mabohari hasa ya sirikali na wenye nazo. Nikishazinyaka nahakikisha nafadhiri chama twawala ili kilinde madili yangu kama ilivyotokea kwa wale waliowahi kutuhumiwa kuwa majambazi wakubwa lakini wakubwa wenzao hasa wale wa kisiasa wakawakingia kifua upepo mbaya ukapita na walevi wakasahau na kuendelea kufanyiwa ujambazi,

Tano, nitaanzisha kundi la kufanya uharamia baharini ili kuingiza njuluku zaidi. Baada ya kuona wasomali wanavyopakuwa njuluku na kuangusha majumba ya bei mbaya kwenye ukanda wote wa Afrika Masharti sorry mashariki, nami lazima nitie timu majini nivue madola badala ya samaki. Inapendeza au siyo?

Sita, nitaficha pesa Uswizi na Ukamerunini aka Uingereza. Ili kufanya hivyo barabara, lazima nianzishe kampuni la kiwekezaji na kichukuaji na kuchanga pesa kama sina akili nzuri. Napendekeza kuanzisha kampuni ya simu. Hii ni baada ya kugundua kuwa biashara ya simu inalipa kuliko bangi. Unaleta mitambo chakavu na kufunga halafu unawalangua viwango vya kupiga simu walevi. Ikizidi ikipungua unaweka mitambo yenye uwezo wa kumkata mtu pesa hata kwa kubeep na kumwambia kuwa salio halitoshi kwa vile unamwibia kama ilivyo sasa ambapo simu za kaya yetu ni hovyo kuliko hata zile za enzi za Adam na Eva.

Saba, nitagombea udiwani ili kukamua pesa za mamlaka za miji. Hii ni baada ya kusoma repoti ya mkaguzi mkuu wa wizi wa pesa za serikali ambaye kila mwaka huripoti wizi wa matrilioni ya njuluku na hakuna anayekamatwa. Jamaa naambiwa wanakula mshiko mkubwa tu kiasi cha hata wahishimiwa kutaka wawakatie kitu kidogo na kikubwa kama ilivyotokea kwa yule jamaa yangu wa Pahi aitwaye Goodwell.

Nane, baadaye nitagombea ubunge ili kuzidi kuzichanga. Nikiwa na cheo cha mheshimiwa nitaweza kuingia kwenye makampuni ya kiwekezaji na kuyataka yanikatie kitu kidogo na kikubwa ili tusitunge sheria ya kuyakamua kodi. Pia hapa nitapata posho za usingizi, umbea, makalio, do nothing, uchakachuaji na hata uchangu.

           Tisa, kwa vile najua CcM itakufa, nitagombea urahisi ili niweze kupata mabilioni ya njuluku na kuyaweka kibindoni bila kutozwa kodi ukiachia mbali kusafiri kuliko Vasco da Gama yule jambazi wa kireno anayeenziwa utadhani alifanya la maana.

Why Sino-Africa Ties are Good for Africa

The other day I heard former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo wondering why west countries ask him about Africa’s new colonial master, China. As he wonders, everybody, too, wonders.  How China can be Africa’s new colonial master just because it’s invested a fraction of its money in Africa? Statistically speaking, America is taking a lion share when it comes to China’s foreign investment. For example, in 2012 China invested heavily in the US. “Some of the biggest transactions to have transpired this year in North America include the impending $15.1 billion CNOOC - Nexen deal, and Dalian Wanda’s $2.6 billion acquisition of AMC Entertainment,” Firmex. According to Firmex the US ranks second with the chunk of 42 billion dollars after Australia with 45.2 billion dollar investment. When it comes to Africa, only one country, Nigeria, features in with 18.8 billion dollar investment.

The Washington post of January 30, 2013 had this to say regarding the increase in Sino-America investment, “Chinese companies invested $6.5 billion in the United States last year. That’s a record and a 17 percent increase over the prior year, according to data assembled by the Rhodium Group.” This is not easy money. It is a fortune no sane person would turn down.

Although west’s doing trying to discourage Africa from taking up the opportunity to do business with China, African leaders and policy makers need to take this challenge and turn it into a tool for an economic takeoff. Instead of worrying and regretting, Africa needs to learn from past mistake in the relationship with her former colonial masters.

It’s upon Africa to put her house in order. Instead of worrying and feel doomed; Africa countries should put good policies in place to benefit from neo-Sino-African partnership. Yeah. If Africa repeats past mistakes, China’s likely to become a new colonial master. Africa’s immense resources China and the west need. Africa needs to competitively take part in this new world order where markets lead politics instead of politics leading the economy and commerce. If anything, had the US shied away or feared that China would become its colonial master, US’s economy would have been in a bigger quandary than it is now. The US didn't only acclaim investments from China. It also took multi-billion loans from China. If the US could do this, why couldn't Africa do? If investing in the country is colonialism, well, China is America’s new colonial master.

When the 2008’s capital crunch in the US started biting, the US didn't badge. It directly approached China seducing it to invest in its economy regardless their traditional political and economic differences. The US put its hegemonic leadership on the line to see to it that it survives the capital crunch.  If the hegemonic superpower would nary worry about its place, why Africa should worry or be made to worry? Africa shouldn't succumb to these machinations. The US did it. Africa can still do it and survive. Importantly, Africa must be prepared to obey the rules of the game shall she hope to survive.

When it comes to Sino-African relationship, worries are about: lack of sound policy, preparedness and insight and corruption and rent-seeking-endemic behaviour in the ranks. Former Chinese president Hu Jintao once said, “The Chinese and African peoples have always treated each other as equals... we will... forever be a good friend, good partner and good brother of the African people.” Instead of being equal politically, Africa needs to create conducive environment that will makes us equal and partners economically.

Essentially, business is a profit-making game.  What is required is edge. Instead of Africa listening to doomsayers she’d take the challenge and utilize it for her benefit. For example, Africa needs to improve her laws governing contracts and business. Substandard items shouldn't be allowed in Africa. Resource depredation also should be dealt with seriously. Currently, Asia’s money’s created poaching problems for many African countries. Many elephants and rhinos have been decimated. Such sorts of things must be dealt with to avoid turning Africa into another loser.

In sum, when it comes to the fear of the dangers of Sino-Africa relationship, I fear African corrupt regimes more than China. If self-serving, greed, myopia and unpreparedness go on unabated, Sino-Africa relationship can become a curse in lieu of blessing. If African leaders go on with their monkey business as usual, differently from the US, China’s likely to become Africa’s neo-colonial master as the west has always aspired to remain.

Kijiwe chaandaa matanga ya CCCM

Hata kabla ya kuendelea, Mgosi Machungi anamnyang’anya mic na kuchonga. “Mbwa Mwitu leo umetiacha hoi. Sikujua kuwa kumbe nawe unayamanya mambo ya sanaa!”
Bi. Sofi aka Kanungaembe alikuwa amefura nusu ya kupasuka. Alisema: “Ulichofanya mwenzetu si kizuri. Utatangazaje msiba wa chombo ambacho kiko imara na hai? Jaribu kuwa na adabu japo kidogo.”
Kabla ya Sofi kuendelea, Mijjinga anamchomekea. “Sofi acha hizo. Kama mkulu mwenyewe ametabiri kitakufa wewe ni nani kusema vinginevyo au ni yale yale ya kuishi kwa matumaini kama wagonjwa wa miwaya?”
Msomi Mkatatamaa hangoji waharibu mada. Anatia guu. “Kimsingi alichosema Mkulu si jipya. Watu tulishaona hili sema kwa vile sisi si maarufu na washitiri wa chama hicho, mawazo yetu yalipuuzwa.”
Mpemba aliyekuwa ndiyo amemaliza kusoma gazeti anakatua mic. “Yakhe mie jamaa kaniacha hoi wallahi. Kumbe naye atabiri kama rafiki yake yule Shehena Yahayaa?”
“Kwani kutabiri kazi? Si utapeli wa kawaida uliojificha nyuma ya kile mtu anachohisi kinaweza kutokea tu.” Anajibu Kapende huku akisogeza simu yake aliyokuwa ameiweka mezani.
Kanji naye hataki aachwe nyuma. “Mimi ona kama hii chezo. Hapana weza ua powerful parti like this. Kama naanguka sisi takwenda vapi jamani?”
“Mtakwenda wapi? Rudini kwenu au muamue kukaa na kujenga kaya badala ya kuiba na kutoroshea kwenu,” anajibu mzee Maneno.
Mipawa ambaye alikuwa kimya akisoma gazeti anaamua kukatua mic. “Beng’we, alichosemaga Mkuru ni ushindi kwetu. Je, hawa wapingaji nao wana uwezo wa kukamata madola bila kuiba?”
Msomi anajibu. “Dk. Mipawa swali na wasiwasi wako ni vya msingi. Kinachohitajika hapa si kuangalia sura za nani watashika nafasi ya marehemu. Kinachotakiwa ni kuweka mfumo thabiti unaoweza kuendesha nchi bila kujali nani yuko madarakani. We need to maintain the momentum seeing to it that we don’t backslide.”
Mzee Maneno anamkumbusha Msomi. “Mzee Kikameruni hicho (Yaani kimombo).” Maana kwa wengine wengi hakipandi. Wanajikubali kuliko kwenda kughushi kama akina Luukuuv na vihiyo wengine wanaojiita wasomi.
“Mimi mambo ya nani atachukua mikoba na kuiba nini hayanihangaishi kwa sasa. Kwanza tuzike na kusahau balaa hili halafu tuanze kuwasaka wabaya wetu walionufaika tokana na utawala wa genge hili hatari,” anadakia Kapende ambaye kijiwe humuita muhafidhina kutokana na kuwa na msimamo mkali kwenye masuala mengi.
“Dua la mwewe hilo. Wenzenu tunajiandaa kuwa na mgombea anayekubalika mheshimiwa Eddie Ewassa nyie mnaongelea mazishi hewa,” anabeza Bi. Sofi.
Mijjinga hamkawizi. “Hata kama umehongwa na kuharibiwa kiasi hicho, unadhani hata mafisadi na majambazi watapewa power tena? Kumbe nawe ni wa hovyo kama Joni wa kujikombokomba kwa fisadi mkuu! Nani anataka HEPA nyingine kwa kuchagua bwana Richimonduli? Mie siku jamaa akigombea nitajinyotoa roho kuliko kuingia mkenge mwingine.”
Msomi anadakia. “Hakuna kilichonichefua, kunifedhehesha at the same time kunichekesha kama mkuru kuanika madudu yao. Sikujua kuwa wenzetu wanahongwa upuuzi kama suti na kadi za simu.”
“Mkuu ulikuwa hujui kuwa kaya yetu inagawiwa kwa wezi kwa udohoudoho na upuuzi mtupu? Hukusikia kuwa hata wale majambazi waliotorosha wanyama wetu walikuwa na pasi za kidiplomasia?” Anazoza Kapende.
Mipawa naye hajivungi. “Mnaongelea suti! Mbona kuna wengine wanahongwa chupi.”
Mgosi anakatua mic. “Sasa tinaanza kuona mantiki ya uhishimiwa wa dezo. Kumbe kuna ulaji hapa!”
Sofi hakubali. “Mnajuaje kuwa wanahongana ngono kama si umbea, kwani huko kwenye mahoteli makubwa nanyi huwa mnakwenda au ni hisia tu?”
“Wewe kalia hisia na imani mfu. Utaliwa hadi ukome,” anabeza Mijjinga.
Kanji naye leo kaamua kuzoza. “Hii mambo ya chupi iko baya sema hadhani jamani.”
Mpemba hakubaliani na ushauri wa Kanji. Anakatua mic. “Kama wao wanofanya hawaoni aibu kwanini sie tufiche ati? Huu wakati wa uwazi na ukweli ati.”
Mbwa Mwitu aliyekuwa akisikiliza huku akisoma gazeti anaamua kukatua mic. “Nimesikia michango yenu nyote na majonzi na king’ang’anizi cha Bi. Sofi na Kanji. Ukweli ni kwamba CCCM ishakufa. Kilichobaki ni kuandaa maziko, tena ya kibudu.”
Kanji anamkata jicho la chuki Mbwa Mwitu huku akinong’ona jambo na Bi. Sofi na kuzoza. “Kila mtu takufa dugu yangu. Kama CCCM kufa nawe siku moja kufa. Nini bwana.”
“Kwanza si kweli kuwa mimi ni ndugu yako. Usinidanganye na dugu yako ya mdomoni wakati moyoni unanibagua. Ni kweli nitakufa. Lakini nitakufa kifo cha heshima. Hivyo siogopi kusema ninachoamini, tena kilichotabiriwa na mshitiri wako eti kwa vile Kanji na Bi. Sofi watachukia. Halo halo! Mwenye uchungu akajinyonge!”
Mgosi Machungi anakiacha kijiwe hoi. Anasema: “Wanaosema titakufa hawana maana. Tife maa ngapi iwapo tiishauzwa, kunyonywa na kuuawa kwa miongo mingi?”
Kanji haridhiki. Anazoza. “Gosi dugu yangu omba mimi samaha. Mimi iko mtu ya maana sana sana sana. Veve hapana jua tu.”
Mgosi hakubali. “Kama wewe ni wa maana ni kwa Bi. Sofi na magabacholi wenzako na hao wanaowatumia kutuibia na kuficha kwenu.”
Kanji kuona somo halieleweki anasimama na kuondoka huku akiwa amechukia. Nyuma Mgosi na Mijjinga wanamzomea. “Nenda mwana kwenda ukale dengu Bombay.”
Kijiwe kikiwa ndiyo kinanoga si tukashuhudia trafiki akitaka kushikishwa. Basi tulitoka mbio kwenda kumtia adabu.

After listening to Elton John’s sacrifice, I mused about stupid stuff some bankrupt politicos a la Kiquette say. You’ll hear them saying that they’re in politics to serve the boozers while they actually are there to screw them up. If they truly love the boozers, ask them: Why are boozers always poor and screwed up? If they truly love them, why do they spend boozers’ taxes unwisely and without any discipline?

Does J4 Kawa-dog who defiled out education love boozers really? If you love them you’ll listen to them-quit. Boozers told him to hit the road after defecating in their office. He refused so did his mentor and maker Jake.

Does Anna Makidamakida love the boozers by intimidating their reps? Does Sayd Mwema love boozers by allowing cops to butcher them quite often? Does mzee Pinder love boozers by instigating and ordering cops to beat and kill boozers wantonly?  Does Eddie Lowassa love boozers? Why did he invent Richmonduli just like Ben Mkapa with his ANBEN? Again, all those guys above say they love boozers! Is this love? Bob Marley once said:

 So I throw my cards on your table!

 I wanna love you - I wanna love and treat - love and treat you right;

We'll share the same room, yeah! Jah provide the bread.

 We'll share the shelter of my single bed

Let me say it louder. This sort of love’s wicked and disparaging. Yes. They throw their cards on the table and we vote for them to eat us free of charge.  They greedly use our power as a bargaining chip for their wicked and dubious deals. These betes noires suck our blood in the name of love and power. These beasts even eat without washing their hands. Others eat with both legs and hands. They throw their cards and dupe us into voting for them. They promise us better life for all. They promised to share their shelter and bed. Alas, in the end, they live in Masaki and other upper-class areas with all amenities paid for by our taxes while we suffer in Uswekeni. Is this love really? They share bed with thieves and venal creatures. Remember EPA? What of Kagodamn and IPTL? Have you forgotten Net Solution Group that ended up becoming Net problematic Group that felled our Tanesco and NBC? Think twice about this fake love of theirs.

They promise to provide the bread. In the end, they end up providing nothing but stones. They eat everything and leave the table clean. No crumbs or what that falls from their picnic! They say we’ll share their yum yum. In the end we share nothing but beatings and humiliation. Is this love?

Keep in mind though, when they tell boozers they love them, the mean donkey-man love, not man-man love. They mean candle love whereby boozers become candles to light for those wicked creatures. Is this love? I hate this dull love full of deceit and heartbreak. I hate this sort of love full of exploitation, arrogance and disgrace. This love is punitive and primitive so to speak. Others call it democracy. Yeah. It is demon crazy. Phew! What type of democracy is this that empowers a few to rob the melee?  I like monkeys and other beasts. They hate this sort of democracy. Only chickens like it whereas the cockerel lord it over everybody inferior of female.  A whooping crane knows when to whoop while boozers don’t know when to love and be loved in this deceptive love full of folly and exploitation.

Alas-they like us to suffer even if it means to die for their comfy. Again, they’ll shamelessly say and make us believe that this is the right way to love us. Is this love or bluff? To heck with this sort of love!

The other day I was asking my wife if she’d like me to be surrounded by bodyguards when I become president. She gave me a condition that those bodyguards should guard me against all others except her and our children. As first lady she wanted freedom of owning me more than those that voted for me. She’s right.  As Wayne Gerard Trotman put it, “Fear sees, even when eyes are closed. “Thereafter, I imagined how our ‘beloved rulers’ love us by fearing us. Yeah. Ask them why they've bodyguards? They love us by not trusting us. Interestingly, we accept this sort of deceptive love. We’re duped by security pretexts. While they run for presidency, we commingle with them. They rub shoulders with all screwed up boozers. After getting what they wanted, their new love of fear and suspicion kicks in.  Instead of becoming lovers, we become foes.

What adds up’s the fact that we whom they fear pay for their bodyguards who, in turn, exploit and humiliate us. Is this love? Who needs it? We’re like a donkey that carries their dirty and heavy baggage. When will we rebel? We need to. We surely need to turn tables against them shall we aspire to live like normal respectable bin-Adams.

We sometimes toggle with ideas in order to get the solutions of the problems at hand. I've always been toggling with the idea of how we can awake our people to take on corrupt and rotten system manning them.

Today’s wisdom is: Fear those whose fear surround them with bodyguards in the name of pseudo love of security. Why their security but not ours?

Utabiri wa kifo cha CcM: Mlevi azimia

Hivi karibuni mlevi alikimbizwa hospitali. Ilibakia kiduchu angepumulia mashine kama Mandela. Hii ilitokana na kuwa na furaha kiasi cha kupita kiasi na kuanguka na kuzimia.

Baada ya munene JK kutoa utabiri wa kiama cha Chama cha Maulaji (CcM) ambao wakameruni huita self-fulfilling prophecy, yaani utabiri unaotimilika, nilikimbikia kupata kanywaji kujipongeza.  Hata hivyo, nilishatabiri hili anguko takatifu na Nabukadnezza na Firauni.

Baada ya kunyaka nyuzi nilipiga kanywaji kama sina akili nzuri. Nani ambaye hangeshangilia kiama cha waliotusababishia kiama? Ukichanganya na mibangi si nikazimia kiasi cha kujikuta niko uso kwa uso na daktari.

Nani alinilipia fweza za kumdeku daktari na makandokando mengine ya walaji kama vile kumnywesha chai nesi au mtu wa mapokezi? Usiniulize.  Huenda ningepelekwa Mwanamanyala pengine  ningededi kwenye lango la hospitali ambayo imepata sifa ya kuwa mahali pa mauti badala ya uhai.

Hebu kwanza niwamegee kitu ambacho kilitaka kumnyotoa roho mlevi. Si munene JK baada ya kuona wenzake hawaelewi soma akaamua kupayuka. Ama kweli alaliaye kitanda ndiye anajua kunguni wake! Alipaaza sauti kama mtu aliyeko nyikani na kutabiri, “Kama (sisi walaji) hatutabadilika katika suala la rushwa mwaka 2015 tutakuwa na wakati mgumu sana na kama mwaka huo tutafanikiwa kuishika Sirikali, basi mwaka 2020 hatutarudi tena maulajini.”

Nasikia wakati akitoa utabiri huu mithili ya swahiba yake Shehena Yaya walaji wengi walikuwa wakitoa mimacho kama panya aliyenaswa mtegoni. Nasikia wapo waliozimia na kuzimika kutokana na kutoamini kuwa kumbe siku zao za kuwageuza walevi mabwege zinahesabiwa. Sijui munene JK alitembelewa na mzimu wa mzee Mchonga or what. Don’t ask me please.

Baada ya kuona somo halieleweki kutokana na kutumia lugha ya kinabii, munene Njaa Kaya sorry JK aliamua kuongea kwa lugha ya rahisi na moja kwa moja ili vihiyo na wagumu waipate. Alipaaza sauti tena akisema, “Amini amini nawambieni na mwenye akili atie akilini asiye nazo akaandae majili yake.

Viongozi wa chama ndiyo mmekuwa mawakala wa kusambaza rushwa bila hata aibu. Nawaombeni tubadilike, kama tutaendelea hivi hali yetu itakuwa ngumu sana katika chaguzi mbalimbali, nawaambieni.” Baada ya kusema maneno haya ya kishujaa viongozi wote walishusha macho yao kwa aibu huku wengine wakinong’ona, “Huyu jamaa mnoma. Kumbe ametugeuka! Tutakuwa wageni wa nani kama ulaji utatuponyoka?”

Munene alichukua glasi ya maji akanywa na kuendelea kunena, “Amini nawambieni na mwenye busara ayashike maneno yangu. Tukipoteza urais ndiyo tumekwisha na chama kinaweza kufa.” Hapa mlevi namuunga mkono mlevi mwenzangu munene. Maana urais ndilo rungu ambalo limekuwa likitumiwa na mwenyekiti wa chama kufanya madudu na kuruhusu ujambazi kuku na upuuzi mwingine kufanyika.

Nadhani hili likitokea hata wauza bwimbwi ambao munene aliwaminyia wataijua siri ya kuku kukosa haja ndogo.  Nikikumbuka majambazi wa EPA, Richmonduli, Meremeta, SUKITA, Deep Green Finance, ANBEN, Kagoda na wengine bila kutumia rungu hili kuna watu wangekuwa Keko au Ukonga wakinyea debe kama siyo kuwa waliishanyongwa.

Alitikisa kichwa na kutoa mpya ambayo ilimuacha mlevi akilia kwa kuugulia hadi alipotishiwa kuwa bi mkubwa alikuwa anakuja ndipo akanyamaza. munene alisema, “Kuna watu wanapoingia mikataba sijui wanakuwa wamelewa...kwanza unashindwa hata kuelewa...kwa mfano utakuta mtu alipangishwa jengo la CcM kwa miaka 264 sasa unawaza huu mkataba wa aina gani kwa sisi tuliopo hapa, miaka 50 ijayo hakuna atakayekuwapo duniani, sasa mmiliki wa lile jengo atakuwa nani?”

Laiti angeelekeza akili zake kwenye mikataba ya madini na madude mengine yanayoingiza fweza kama mvua kama IPTL, Songas mbona angesababisha mlevi arejeshe namba kwa aliyemchonga kabla ya wakati wake! Baada ya munene kutamka mambo haya mazito nasikia kuna wanoko walianza kunong’ona, “Huyu hatunaye tena. Lazima aishie Chakudema vinginevyo tujiandae kushuhudia yale ambayo hayajawahi kushuhudiwa.”

Nasikia mlevi mmoja aliyekuwa akipita kwenye mkutano wakati munene akinena alisema, “Toboa baba japo umechelewa. Kwanini hayo hukuyaona miaka ya mwanzo ya ulaji wako na kuwatia adabu wenzio au kamba? Mbona unaongelea rushwa lakini si ujambazi na wizi kama EPA?” Nasikia kabla ya kuendelea kupayuka ndata walikuja wakamziba mdomo (asiwaumbue wakubwa) na kwenda kumbambikizia kesi.

Baada ya kuona somo linazidi kuwa gumu munene aliamua kuchukua maji na kunawa mikono kama alivyofanya Pilato akisema, “Wapo watu ambao wanadai kuwa chama kitafia mikononi mwangu, nataka niseme kuwa hakifii mikononi mwangu, kitafia mikononi mwenu.” hapa kilichowazi ni kwamba chama lazima kusulubiwe bila huruma kwani hakina maana wala mtetezi. Nafikiria ile siku chama kitapokuwa kimewekwa msalabani kikilia Munene Munene mbona waniacha? Tazama naiweka roho yangu chafu mifukoni mwako.”

Hebu tuseme ukweli kidogo. Munene alivyokula hakumaliza waliomaliza ni wale walioiweka kaya mifukoni mwa mafisadi ingawa naye alishiriki karamu hii haramu. Sasa ukisikia wakati wa kuchimbika bila jembe na kutotosha ndiyo huu. Walevi kaeni mkao wa kula maana mmeliwa sana. Wametula lazima nao waliwe bila huruma.

Munene ameamua kutubu tena kwa kutoboa. Je upande wa pili unaotuaminisha kuwa unaweza kupewa ulaji wasile wao tule sisi mbona nasikia wengine wana hata mahekalu huko kulikoungua shoka ukabaki mpini? Nadhani wale jamaa zangu wenye mahekalu Dubai, akaunti Uswazi na Jersey mnanideku. Mlevi sina chama wala ushabiki. Nakata huku na kule kama msumeno.

Laiti wanene wa Chakudema nao wangekuja na kitubio chao tungewaelewa. Wale wenye NGOs wanazoita vyama sina haja nao. Waje tupige kanywaji na mibangi waachane na mateso kama alivyosema munene tujipe raha wenyewe. Hakuna haja ya kuishi kwa matumaini ya kukamata dola wakati hata Dola za wafadhili mkizipata mwakimbizia Uswazi.

Wale walevi wanaosema eti watagombea ulaji hadi wafe wakigombea au watimliwe kwa mawe na walevi sina haja nao. Walishapigika. Hawana sera. Wanaganga njaa. Joni Cheo, August Lyatongolwa, Maalimu Nonihii na wasasi wengine wa ngawira mpo?

Kifo cha CcM kinakumbusha mbwa wangu wenye majina ya kizungu Tamba, Jerome, Stanley na Ray ambao niliwanunua Kimbush. Baada ya kugundua wananiibia si niliwapiga nyundo.

Mlevi anashauri walevi wasingoje CcM ijifie bali waidedishe as soon as possible ili wakombolewe. Uliwaambia wajiandae kisaikolojia wakagoma. Sasa wamalize kisaikoloji.  Such spiffy prophecy makes me feel like flying with joy and relief. RIP CcM.
