Peter Tosh was an icon. As a reggae musician, Tosh was in his class with the mighty reggae musicians such Robert Nesta Marley (Bob Marley), Neville O'Reilly Livingston (Bunny Wailer) and Rita Marley (Alpharita Constantia). He died on 11 September 1987–––when he went back home to Jamaica to visit–––after thugs who seem to know him broke into his house and wanted him to give them money. They tortured him to death. His mark on reggae music is indelibly forever. May his Soul Rest in Eternal Peace. RIP Legend Peter Tosh (Winston Hubert Macintosh).
