As the things seem, Yoweri Museveni, Uganda's long time strongman is poised to be in power for over four decades. For, over three decades, Museveni has been using charade to legitimise his overstay in power. Under the pretext of adhering to democracy, Museveni has been conducting sham elections he ends up rigging and winning at the expense of Ugandan taxpayers. Using his despotic and nepotic regime, Museveni has kept tabs on his opponents. As was the case of Malawi where life president aka wa muyaya Hastings Kamuzu Banda used the same tactics, he later succumbed to biology whereby he became old, frail and senile so as to be put aside. There are two ways for Ugandans to get rid of regime Musevenica. One is through raising up against it as was the case in Uganda's former neighbour Sudan where their long time potentate Omar Bashir was brought down from power through mass actions. The second option is to wait for natural trend of ageing force Museveni out of power. Along this, death also can do shall Museveni, like any other human being, die, which surely will occur one day.
