Those who remember how the term Green Zone came into being will agree with us that it is an over-guarded place in Baghdad Iraq. It is the place where US army operates from in Iraq. Because the US is not accepted in Iraq–––where it is viewed as an occupier–––the Green Zone is heavily guarded. This is what Washington DC looks like a few days after being attacked by pro-Trump domestic terrorist and a few days before inaugurating the 46th president, president elect Joe Biden to take over from Trump. While Green Zone in Baghdad exists because of the threats from non-Americans namely the Iraqs, the threats in Washington DC is from Americans themselves.
