Let Ngeleja divulge the owner of Kiwira coal mine

DEAR Minister for Energy and Minerals William Ngeleja,

I hope you are doing fine after dropping the bombshell that IPTL is in fact stealing from us. Kudos and keep it up! I also hope you still remember your promise to the nation that you would divulge the name of the owner of the disputed Kiwira coal mine that is thought and alleged to be owned by former president Benjamin Mkapa, his family and friends. When you announced before the House that you would name names so as to bury the rigmarole and myth the nation is in, everybody was happy and anxious to know this person that can shamelessly sabotage our country. Surprisingly, we haven’t heard anything to date except ping pong on this and that! What is the problem? Are you afraid of spilling the beans or being ’’dealt’’ with? As a minister who swore using the Holy Book that you’ll serve the people of this nation fearlessly and diligently, methinks you don’t have to fear or worry.
Don’t you see by not divulging the name of the person who owns Kiwira and living up to your words do horribly dress you down? Should we take your silence as government’s stance on this?

Let me give you one piece of mind. Tanzanians, as of now, are more mature politically than anytime in the history of this nation. Corruption has hardened them a great deal. What makes this matter empirically eminent is the fact that when it’s alleged that Mkapa is behind this scam, he maintained silence so as to cause many tongues to wag. I still can’t understand why Mkapa opted for silence in the first place! When he tried to defend himself recently, he?messed horribly after giving us light and wrong answers full of far-fetched stuffs.

Now that the buck stops with you as a minister responsible, if you don’t answer then why did you promise us you would? Who then will answer, really?
?Are you afraid of the guy who threatened that mwenye ubavu should try and see hell fire? Fear him not. He is but a dying horse that never stops to kick though it does bite somewhat.

Fear him not. I know Bongo people; they’re good at issuing such stuffs. But when it comes to doing things, they’re but green. But mind you, things have changed though. You must understand that the nation wants to know. We have waited for too long and we’re now tired of waiting any longer. I still believe you’ll divulge this footpad soonest.

After all, what are you afraid of if at all, the NEC has already exonerated Mkapa and others for their job well-done for the good of the party? Point to note: When you divulge this person do it as a minister not as politician from CCM. Leave the business of PR and other ballyhoos to Makamba and those he pays to paint a rosy picture of his dying outfit.

More on this: Fear nobody except fear itself. For if you take a leaf from Mkapa’s slogan of ’uwazi na ukweli’ you need not to worry my friend. Don’t be like him. He preached uwazi na ukweli, but he practiced completely the opposite! And you can see the hot soup and shame he is in now. Don’t you know if you won’t divulge the name of this mythic creature, people will approach your boss to seek answers apart from looking down at you? For you’re acting on?his behalf, and of course the same people waiting to hear from you are the ones whose money generates your salary and all yum-yum and chapatis. Keeping mum apart from dressing you down, will seriously damage the reputation of your boss.

Shall you unnecessarily maintain silence just like Mkapa, your boss will find you unfit to wear the shoes you’re wearing and the people will think you are being used.

Let me encourage you to expediently come forth and tell the nation what is behind the curtains. And when you do this, try as much as you can to tell the truth. Because people know more than some gawks think.

By the way, may I send you back to the major question? Who is the owner of Kiwira coal mine?
Cheers,
